Ping all online moderators in lobby chat

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that a lot of players ask questions and no one can answer them. Only moderators can help, the only problem is that they take a long time to respond (over 25 minutes) or do not respond. I am thinking of creating like a hashtag to ask for help from moderators.

For exemple : "@moderator" in "General" or "Q/A" then we write our question. at this point the game sends a notification to one of the moderators that someone is asking for help.

Of course if there is abuse, the moderator can punish the player. I don't know the number of moderators, or how it works, but I think it's to be tested for a better exchange between players.

Why this idea? it's also because like other people speaking, our message has a very high chance of not being seen. and if a moderator responds. the player risks leaving by what he has waited too long and will ask this question again later and so he will start over and over again.

Valid

Thing is, moderators are not as flexible as it may seem. If a mod is currenty in General, it means that he/she is on duty in that channel, and cannot just leave their post and go to another channel. And when they're not on duty, they are not obliged to answer players' requests and may simply enjoy the game and play in battles. So if you can't find a moderator that's currently active in the chat, the solution is to check back later and ask your question when you see one.

I know some other games which have an ability to ping all online moderators at once, but there's little chance of it getting implemented in Tanki.
