Halloween review

Hello everyone, welcome to our usual meets regarding an article. Today we will do a review of the Halloween events regarding its good points. Sadly not everyone could join this event. This is why I will make this article. I hope you will feel as if you were in the event. This event was in Deathmatch mode in a Halloween event. Two maps have been chosen by the developers. Highland has been chosen and the special usual map that came last year has been chosen as well but came with many changes.

Why was the event enjoyable?
This event was much enjoyable because the suspense was there. The gold box drop rate was increased as usual, making for a lot of fun. Regarding the sound effects, it was quite haunting which fit the theme perfectly, with sounds such as evil laughs, strange sounds, scary dead tanks making an appearance. Everything was perfectly organized. There were many pumpkins, which could be confused with golds sometimes. Here is a screenshot of the 2017 version of the Graveyard map, back in all its glory:

As we can see, some rockets have fallen in the map, but hopefully, players were fast enough to kill the nasty pumpkins that came in Tanki Online. The legend says that when a pumpkin dies, it gives a reward of 1,000 crystals to the player who took it. There were also black boxes that also came. They were rarer but they are even more dangerous than pumpkins. This must explain why do players are fighting between them for killing these black boxes that we also call containers. Regarding rockets, we can think that they have been programmed to fall to precise places and create pumpkins.

 

Some days later, strange things happened as well. We could see some ridiculously strong tanks with dead paint. They had strong armour and the legend said that if someone manages to kill one of them, he gets a special paint as a reward. Two maps were composed of a cemetery in the middle, some hills in corners and many wooden houses. For the Highland map, it was looking like the usual map, but some pumpkins were added and everything was on a night mode. Pumpkins can only live in the night, otherwise they cannot give rewards.

What were the best reasons to join this event mode?

Sadly, like every game, an event mode always disappears. The frame of mind between players was good, especially for high-rank players - this was the best place to train yourself regarding your tank strength and your tank speed. This could even train you to control supplies if you are an eSports player, but also try to catch golds as a cherry on top of the cake. Special missions were also based around this event and were giving you generous rewards such as Ultra containers, which sometimes gives you awesome rewards. In all cases, getting something is better than nothing, isn't it?

What were the best equipments to train yourself there?

First of all, like every event with rockets, this required you to use Lifeguard drone. This drone was sold for free after a maintenance. Make sure you have enough batteries. The best equipment to catch golds for me was medium and light hulls such as Viking or Wasp. Their Overdrive could easily clear the gold zone, which would give the only chance for you to catch the gold box. Also, try to not be exposed, otherwise, your enemies could try to kill you, so stay hidden until you feel the gold box will fall soon. Once you are ready, use your Overdrive and never go back. A few tanks can be faster than Wasp, which gives you many chances if you consider yourself good regarding speed.

A short and very sweet summary of the Halloween event. How can you argue with that?

I loved how you remembered the past versions of the map - man do the memories flood back. Your structure is fantastic too, just answering the important questions and not getting sidetracked really is key after all.
