Shaft has been made useless. 

1)  Reload time went up like 5 x 

2) spawn immunity lasts way too long, half the shots are wasted. on players that take no damage. 

3) railgun hits nearly flip tank over,  if you are aiming it blows your aim badly. 

4) Arcade mode damage while waiting to reload  where an MK720 does literraly  73 damage points. 

5)can't pull out of scope without firing,  this wasn't an issue with a fast reload but a slow reload and you're not going to fire again. 

worst nerf ever.

Now, almost everyone is complaining about the Shaft.

currently all long range turrets have been nerfed to oblivion

Hello, what is the point of even having gold box map events, if there are hoppers with overdrives, its just not playable at all. "If we think that hoppers are overpowered for gold boxes, why don't we just use it then?" The answer is, imagine how stupid and unplayable it would feel to be forced to use only 1 exact hull to catch atleast 5 gold boxes in 2 hours of playing, you wouldn't wanna do that because it ruins the whole spirit of it, gold box events used to be fun and exciting, now with hoppers just jumping on gold boxes, you feel like there is not even a point in catching gold boxes anymore. My favorite time of tanki online was always christmas/new years events, hope they will atleast disable hoppers in those events, because if there are going to be hoppers, we as a whole community will be dissapointed, because i can guarantee that at least 80% of the community does not want to see hoppers just jumping around catching gold boxes while there is nothing you can do about it since there are too many every round since people know that they can just farm gold boxes with it, it breaks the whole point of fighting trying to catch a gold box.

I have written this before - I have a feeling we will soon see a very expensive augment that will speed up to reload time... The new motto in the game now is "denghi" - in Russian "money". Everything is subjected to that. As an old player and non-buyer it is getting harder and harder to evolve in the game. All they need are not old, grumpy, complaining players, but unskilled, new ones that buy stuff to  help them win. They may buy only once, but even then the real winners are the game owners, because they get the money. Tell me I am wrong, Moderator.

i used to know someone who worked at a casino  and a customer complained the slot machines were not working she replied "did they take your money?" customer "yes" she then said "then  the machines are working just fine".  that being said there are people on the other end  whos salaries need to be paid and other such things

gause is a steaming pile compared to what it used  to be  the auto aim has A.D.D.  and frustrates me to  no end. Miss the aim by less than .001 degree and the aim lock immediately restarts or if a  player happens to cross your line of site to a target the  aim lock will restart. if you do somehow get gause to fire the damage is half of what it used to be.   Rail please having to  shoot  a tank 5 times  to kill it  is pointless.  All my tanks and turrets are m7 20

You can make cash and have a relatively balanced game. They (the devs) exclude any meaningful balance because the buyers want (expect) dominance for the cash they spend. The devs knowing this will continue to introduce OP game changers into the game to satisfy these noobish buyers.

It's a vicious cycle that the devs implemented to make cash and just about every update they have brought in is centred on the buyers. F2P are a sideshow attraction to make up the numbers for their stats.

One of the worst things about the game is the amount of changes they implement and the counters they bring in to offset these changes, all for cash of course.

Unless they have a steady influx of new and old buyers on board with their cash only OP updates the game will die off, because it is (at times, at least 70%) unplayable for most players.

Lets take just 3 changes (updates) they have brought in as a example of their greed and "non caring attitude" to most of their player base.

1-Hopper....Unaffectionately known as the FLYING HACK.  This hull more than any other dominates all cap modes in the most unfair way possible.

2-Shop prices....Absurdly high and continuing to rise on a frequent basis. The changes to this particular feature more than any other is crippling for most players.

3-The continuous nerf/buff of anything that can make them cash....This is one of the main reasons that the game is upside down, back-to-front, a mess. The amount of times they do this is at best, confusing for players and at it's worst only benefits those with the funds (cash/cry) to keep up with the ridiculous amount of changes the devs make.

This is just 3 of a huge amount of their so called updates to enhance the game, move it onto the next level (in their opinion) that leave most players so far behind that as 1 player put it "we may as well use sticks against a gun" (my quote is close enough) because that is all we can afford.

I understand the need for cash, the devs should understand the need for balance. I think they do, they just blatantly do not care AT ALL about it, as long as the buyers keep spending "balance" has no place in TO.

Food for thought hazel, any feedback from you would be most welcome as to why you do what you do, just in-case i have this all wrong.

The Shaft is not effective enough. I wait for 10 seconds for one shot, while another low-range tanker comes close and kills me. this is not fair!

please decrease the reloading time of my dear shaft :(

ok I have posted about this issue for sometime now and it still not fixed. I also have reported it to tanki on line . which they did nothing but instruct me on what I all ready have been working on . such as new internet / reload tanki / clear cache and other things. but its still not working.

see on my desk top I have tanki linked and they send me a new link to download which I had done so. but the issue with the desk top is still on going. see I can't save account log in info / or use my over drive in battles when I use this system. also my ping and FPS are good.

where as if I use my firefox log info page . this has high ping and FPS  but system will allow me to use the Over Drive . it just has issues with my K/D scores.

this issue effects all 3 of my main working accounts....

The new garage sound is terrible! It has a horrific vibe to it as tanki is already horrific enough to play. I am sick of disabling this every time I enter the game. Could this please be fixed so I can disable and it can remain disabled when I am next online. This works with other features such as skybox and dynamic lighting.

ok first of all I'm fully aware of the high ping // but if you look at the C base it was not turned on , the B base was still in loading with players in siege .

this was a issue a few months back when my FPS and Ping was normal..

I always thought it was because each point had a specific time in which it has to be captured but when the current point is not yet captured within the time frame it appears on top like that indicating we are behind the average capturing time or something. Or its just a visual glitch. Either way I too experienced this numerous times in Siege mode.

Well first off, I think we should know better than to trust the advice of anyone working under AP. A much better advice I would give is instead of trying to clear your cache, you should try to load other games that you normally play, and see if they work fine.

If the other games work fine, then the issue is on tanki's end. If they aren't working properly (which I seriously doubt even happens), then I guess do what you think needs to be done.

 

And second, I think its safe to assume that most of the bugs in tanki are more like intentional features. I mean if they were, then they would've been fixed by now.

sir they do work fine and this is what has me baffled . why is tanki the only game I'm having issues with . and it all started back in Oct when they loaded the Halloween events . I noticed others also complaining about high lag issue in battles yesterday - so it seems others are also having it but I'm the only one complaining.

I think most of us saw no point in continue reporting such things since the devs don't seem to care, they're just trying to milk the game for money.

anyone else notice freeeze mk20  with toxic mix and armour piercing is more powerful than a viking overdrive?

definitely the most OP turret in the game right now.....

Honestly took a isida vampire with viking mk20 on overdrive with a level 18 crisis drone and double damage activated  with a level 5 freeze protection  and stil got WIPED by this turret. 

isida vampire with crisis  is also cruelly OP to the point of being not sporting in head to head combat. 

but the freeze is ridiculous.  I'll be upgrading to one this black friday lol  

but until tomorrow it's making me angry

Why does the matchmaking system allow 5x9999 players on one team but none on the other? Clearly the system is broken and needs to be reworked? Sometimes I will leave the battle but almost every battle is like this, so...

It is so hard for shafts now to reload within 11 sec. Hard meaning no fun, and unfair. Imagine this: I am locked and loaded on sniping, aiming at the base or whatever that comes up on target. Lethal. Then it turns out the game changes, and we have the flag or the ball. I need to come out of snipe mode to see what is going on to give cover or any other kind of support. So I have just waisted an opportunity to strike. Now I have to wait 11 sec. to load in a new situation. So at least 22 seconds have passed before I give my first shot. In small arenas the situation can be very dynamic. Good shafts do not always stay in snipe mode. They usually defend the flag or base anyway. To do so well, they need to be aware of the surroundings. So they switch in and out of snipe mode. It used to be 3 sec. to load. Drastic change. This declines the usefulness of shafts in battle. With load time and power up time the interlude between shots is about 14 sec. Tell the Gauses, the Vulcans, the Rails even that they can shoot at their maximum every 14 seconds. See what they'd have to say. The arcade mode is a joke. I shoot in arcade while I reload and my damage is usually 75 or less or a bit more... Imagine I am ready to lock and load, I go into snipe mode, see my target and shoot my lethal charge, only to see a respawned tank with zero damage. OK, so now I wait the next 11 seconds to look for my target. In the mean while the opposite team took the flag, scored or repossessed the flag or ball. Tanki has consequentially been nerfing shaft since I joined the game in 2015. I chose to become a shaftsman because  of the unique characteristics the shaft offered. Since they took the laser away, they decreased the sniping angle, got rid off double shots, reduced damage strength, introduce the silhouette so we now can't hid in bushes, and now they extended reload time. This is as if someone in Tanki would hate the shaft and wanted to get it rid off.

At the start of the second October challenge, I saw that 'healing emitters' was included, and I was excited. I've wanted that since it was introduced, for at least one of my shaft accounts if not more than one. When I started to play shaft to work on the challenge, I was shocked at the change to sniping reload time. It's a disaster and absolutely ruins shaft play. I immediately quit and didn't play for four weeks or so, but the point is, I didn't buy a battle pass. I would have, I was going to.

Lately I've been playing again, mostly isida, but the account I've been playing has a shaft as a backup, for when I need a long-range turret. So I just played it a little, and d*mn it's bean ruined.The thing is, this account is up to tier 30 in the current challenge, and I was planning on getting a battle pass before it's over, to get some things, including the 'secret of the aliens' paint, which I've been lusting for for a long time and which would be perfect for this account. But I'm so angry about the shaft, and what it shows--or rather reinforces--about the developers' callous disregard for this game and idiotic choices, that I will not.

I'd be willing to purchase occasionally, to enhance my enjoyment and support the game, but you've lost me.  You're homogenizing everything, and worse, you're persistently shifting everything to a certain style of play that you want (because it will maximize profits), rather than what the players want.

So I just played a sandbox CFR game. Hard for a shaft, but I tried. So we were winning 5 to 1 and in the 8th minute something changed, ad we eventually lost ahead of time 5 to 7. The lightning fast hoppers and the teslas on the other side... I have never bought anything from tanki and I will never buy. TO has not earned the trust.
