The new Challenge starts tomorrow (Friday, Jan 1st).

 

We remind you that we have implemented some changes to our Challenge activities.

 

Stars

 

In order to let you complete challenges more easily (not faster, that’s important), we have added stars to daily, weekly, and special missions.

 

So, why is this better?
If you complete all the daily and weekly missions you receive during a challenge, you automatically complete the challenge.

 

But what if I miss some missions?
In this case, you still can earn stars in matchmaking battles. Also, don’t forget that special missions will also have stars in prizes! These will let you complete 3-4 stages of any challenge.

 

Have you replaced current mission prizes with stars?
No, no, and no. We haven’t replaced the prizes which you receive from missions with stars. We have simply added stars to these prizes.

 

You do not need to spend a lot of time during weekends now, just complete daily missions every day and weekly missions every week.

We will keep an eye on your reviews and maybe some other changes will be implemented later to make challenges even better.

 

Prizes

 

In addition to the Crystals, Supplies, Batteries and other goodies that you've come to expect, this month's Challenge features the following special rewards:

 

Blue lilac

 

 

 

There is also a new regular paint to snatch up:

 

Volcanic eruption

 

 

And of course, don't forget the grand prizes in the final stage: 100 Tankoins (Silver Tier) and a Skin container (Gold Tier — requires Battle Pass). 

 

How to complete the challenge faster

 

You can always snatch a Stars Bundle from the Shop and give yourself a nice boost. Don’t let those cool top tier rewards slip through your fingers!

 

And with Premium Pass you will receive twice more stars for each battle!
And as requested, we have returned the Premium Pass + Battle Pass bundle which will be available in the Showcase within 5 days after the start of the challenge.

 

So, log into the game on Friday (January 1st) and start collecting those Stars!

Edit : Yes it was part of one of the challenges, I have also seen this paint is other profile.

If you do not like this battle pass, I would suggest you to wait for the next one because maybe you will like it.

Gold boxes are pretty much like crystals, so I personally prefer batteries.

Volcanic eruption is a really cool-looking paint, love the design! Not that fond of Blue lilac though, there are way better animated paints in my opinion. I already own a cold-immunity for Hunter, so I am not in need for another one, leave alone two. The turret-augments are certainly useful, but I already own Plasma Torch and I do not use Smoky. Won't be participating in this Challenge, but I'd love to get Vulcan eruption from a container

it is not a scam. It has been made clear that chances of getting useful and special loot are minimal. Knowing this, it's a players choice to participate in events where they can receive containers. There is a high chance that only common items are being obtained, that's the risk players will have to take when doing these kind of missions. It's purely a game of chance, don't be upset when the awards you received are not the items you wanted.

Very, very happy to see that there are 2 augments. I really hope this stays. I would, without a doubt, prefer that one of the immunities be heat while the other be cold.

I opened 32 Ultra containers and 8 of them contained mines, 23 had common rewards (including the mines). It's frustrating, but it is what it is.

I'll be skipping this challenge because of the XP doubling. I had almost finished the last challenge on my finishing-the-challenges account before the XP doubling started and only had to get 150 stars from missions for 4 days, so the XP cost wasn't too high.

But for 10 days? Nope.

Since you opened 8 ultra containers, I'm guessing you probably did the easiest of the 15 missions (because if you did the harder ones then you'd probably get them all done). If such is the case, you spent 21 of each supply (which is a very small amount) and activated your OD 21 times (which again cost you almost nothing). I do understand your disappointment, but containers are luck based. They're not supposed to be a steady source of income. A scam is when you're explicitly told you'll get something but you get something else entirely, however nothing said you will get something for sure.

I got an epic item yet I am not happy... in fact  I am angry because even common supplies would have been more useful than a paint. at least remove such rewards from ultra for the sake of its name.
