Why do cooldowns activate in the Garage when you UNEQUIP something?

Hello! 

Cool downs are activated in garage to avoid sabotage. If someone is unhappy by their equipement choice, they would have to wait at least a minute before changing again. During the time a player spends changing in garage (say 5 to 15 seconds depending upon your internet connection) your team is at a loss of one player where the enemy team progresses by 7v8 and the battle stops for no one. In such a case, if someone decided to change equipement after every 10 seconds because they can't choose a comno to stick with, your team is at a huge disadvantage. That is why the cool downs are there. If someone has to change, they can do so but the feature wont be abused. 

Also considering how this wasnt even an option back in 2014, cool downs seem reasonable. Back in my day, if you had to change, you were required to leave the battle.

Basically Sacrifice answered very well. But to back something a little to the past..

First initial launch, it was required you to wait up to 15 minutes before the other change, then they change it, I think they have tested the 1 and 3 and 5 and 15 minutes, for sure the 1 minute commission was the worst one, but they stayed lastly on the 5 minutes, and nowadays we just have 3 minutes (logically for 7 minutes MM battle).

And to have some memories. Before this update, you couldn't change your equipment in the battle, if you clicked on the "Garage" button in old Flash during the battle, you immediately leave the battle going to garage (horrible if it was with wrong), and if you returned to the battle you lose your score for sure and sometimes someone takes your place and you can't join again. Btw, there was a glitch by somehow changing the server from EN1 in example to another and with some method (for sure I forgot) you can change your turret, it didn't work anymore and no need of this glitch again for sure Lol. One day also there was a glitch to change your equipment during the XP/BP battle, for sure I'm the one who is directly abused these battles with the glitch, getting a tons of insults from others.

Edit: oh I forgot to say that the time for inactivity was 5 minutes, so you have the enough time to change between servers and refreshing the page and choosing your preferred equipment

MM sabotage doesn't seem it would happen a lot now. Cooldowns should be around 1 minute. It is 2 minutes right now.
