I really like this event. Fire and Ice is an original event. Those missions are great. I looks like I better visit my garage and equip the fireproof and anti-freeze protection modules.

They could give X4 cry with x2 xp and it would still be pants.

The amount of cry needed to upgrade gear in the garage is fortunes, and ranking up to quick is just not the way to go, UNLESS you are a legend.

And the rewards for completing these missions.................PREMIUM  yeah just what low to mid ranks want, another way to rank faster and leave your garage in a woeful condition as you rank beyond your means.

Can't wait to see how much these special bundles are, i'm gonna guess and say at least 70 euros.

And lets not forget the worst containers in the game, COINBOXES, followed closely by ULTRAS.

Goes without saying i'm passing on this event, rewards are useless, MK2  you couldn't make this up, of course the devs have, and those that fall for it are quite clearly blind as the proverbial bat. 

The majority of players will of course end up with zillions of 1 tankoins, and a inexhaustible supply of mines and speed boosts.

If you, THE PLAYERS, have not realised by now that the devs do nothing unless it benefits them, then you truly are blinded by their false niceties.

Only players under 12 are allowed to be constantly fooled, more mature players should know the pitfalls by now. 

          Think the devs missed out a couple of keywords, sok i got this.

• Especially if you use the FLYING HACK with it's 3in1 overdrive, combined with either crisis are defender, do this and we the DEVS guarantee you a quick and easy win in most of the battles you go into, not to mention you have a massive advantage over other players when it comes to catching a GB, are returning a flag (they are both easily done with your unique hack/ability) and you can even play hide and seek on top of buildings and walls while you have the enemy flag, no way they will ever be able to get you with your LEGAL HACK combo. Regards the devs, and our sincerest good wishes to all our devoted HARDCORE BUYERS.

There is already a permanent exp boost in effect, so you really don't need anything on top of that.  You should be playing to complete Challenges, missions and fun.  The 40k ranking bonus is insignificant once you are at Legend rank.

And even if you add 2x cry in addition to another 2x exp boost, that is still bad for lower ranks because they rank up faster than their actual playing experience dictates.  New players need time to get the feel of the game. Ranking them up before they are ready (game-playing experience, not scoring experience) will just make it harder for them than it needs to be.

There is a technical problem with the special missions. The special missions released to this event does not appear. Please fix that.

Bundles not even close to worth it.

 

Be especially crushing to anyone who buys... and then either tomorrows challenge or next challenge after viking heat immunity is there.

 

Shock freeze and compact fuel were already offered recently in challenges. Anyone could have them. No value to that bundle.

 

Most of those containers, 50% will be common supplies etc... some paints. I hope if someone buys they at least get armor peirce smoky or freeze. Something good.

Ap immunity on viking is already out, 150 viking OD's to be used, along with 150 Hornet OD's, yeah imagine facing a viking of that caliber.

The event will be a grind for those who have time, even if spread across 10 days is it? I don't plan to play for even 15 viking ods, 15 hornet ods, 80 firebird kills and 80 freeze kills per day, especially when many things exist to make it take much longer. The people who play so often won't have an issue but for those players who have to face immunities have such a tough mission which will take god knows how long for them.

Not to forget 2 bundles, 1 with viking cold immunity and 1 with hornet heat immunity, I see what's going on here. This is something I will pass up, I shall stick to just doing daily missions. Those who have time and the equipment to play, do so, but don't make it much harder for those who don't have the decent equipment.

As for the rewards, 8d prem, not bad, 6 ultras, big pass. Maybe you should do a supermission which will award the BP which maybe players may actually feel like it's worth the grind?

yup the heat immunities r frustrating (specially for those without incendianary mix , like me.) and usually there is 2x fund and boosted xp which this time is replaced by giving premium so in a way no rewards.

Yep, it means you have 8 days for the missions and not 10.

It wouldn't count towards the mission. So if your goal is to complete them, I'd advise you to wait.

I bought my first ever bundle today in the form of Jotun. Extremely satisfied with it. I've wanted Viking Ultra FOREVER (my helper friends will know ) and I finally have it, along with heat immunity for Viking. I also managed to get some great things in the ultra containers as you can see in the spoilers below (these were the best, the others were mostly supplies or crystals)
