Crisis Total Speed?

It says that Crisis gives up to 70% more speed to a tank.

When we equip Speed Boost, that gives 40% more speed to a tank.

Does Crisis's speed add to the 40 we have, or does it convert to 70?

(I'm guessing it adds.)

Let us assume that a max speed for Tank X is 10m/s, we will see that as 100% speed. Now like you said, SB gives 40%, so for Tanki X, the max speed is now 14m/s, total of 140% speed.

Crisis max speed gives a 70% boost on TOP of that.

So Tank X's top speed is 100%+40%+70%=210%, giving us 21m/s.

Now, 210% speed vs 140% speed, it has a 50% higher top speed than a tank with regular SB. And it is more than double speed when comparing without a speed boost.

Now let's look at Titan max speed, 6.5, with crisis(max speed) it's 6.5x2.1=13.65, whilst vikings max speed is 9.5, with regular sb, it's 9.5x1.4=13.3. As you see, Titan has a 0.35 higher top speed than viking.

Did a quick test with a friend, I had an early start so stopped, but you can clearly see I was able to push out much further.

Conclusion, Crisis with maximum speed let's you achieve a 210% max speed.

I honestly believe it converts the speed to a 70% boost.

This is noticeable because when using Crisis with a Heavy Hull, you usually move at the same speed as a Light Hull normally does.

Wasp's top speed is 12 m/sec. Mammoth's is 6 m/sec. 

70% of 6 is 4.2 
Add 4.2 to 6, and you get a speed of 10.2 for Mammoth, which is very similar to the top speeds of Hopper, Hornet, and Wasp that is not using Speed Boost.

In conclusion, Crisis makes the Speed Boost supply grant 70% extra speed, not 110%. It doesn't add, it just converts to 70%.

Of course, this is based on my observations, and my observation can be wrong.

I think it adds. It's because on the Tanki Wiki,  I saw that Crisis gives 20% to 70% more speed, as it's upgraded.

At level 0 Crisis Drone, it gives 20% + 40% = 60% more speed.

At level 20 Max Crisis, it gives the full 70% + 40% = 110% more speed.

 

So I think it adds to the 40% speed boost.

It can not convert because if you have a level 0 Drone, the speed won't go from 40% (speed boost box) to 20% (drone's speed). It will add together.

I completely overlooked the 0/20 upgrade for Crisis lol. You have a point.
