This is more of joke question but if someone has an answer please do!

Why do Drones require batteries?

Using this logic, shouldn't there be a new supply called Gas to fuel our tanks? Or Ammunition in the Garage to shoot our enemies?

When we buy drones, each one gives a kind of boost or helpful assist to the tanker.

If we buy the Drone with Crystals, we will be able to use this boost forever, without ever having to un-equip the Drone.

 

That's why Batteries are used as another factor: to limit the time of using the Drone. This way, not everyone is using a Drone always.

Even though we have the Drone, we now have to be able to use it by always having Batteries. If no Batteries, we can't use the boosts from the Drone, which is good sometimes (enemy doesn't use Drone) and bad other times (we can't use it).

 

Tanks don't need gas for the Hull, or ammunition for the Turret because then it would be impossible, from the start of the game, to progress!

We would need to buy in order to get these extra items, making it only possible for Buyers to play.

 

So we require Batteries for the Drone to get their temporary boost, but other things aren't needed.

Idk, but I remember reading somewhere that when Tanki was first released, there was the "Engine". The Engine would control our hulls' speeds, and the more you upgraded the Engine, the faster you went, depending on which type of engine you bought in the first place.

Of course, that was removed a long, long time ago XD

Anyways, Drones require batteries because a Battery is worth 300 crystals.

The Double Damage, Double Armor, Speed Boost, and Repair Kit cost 300 crystals altogether. 

Since most drones affect your supplies in some way, I assume that's the logic behind that.
