Swapping rewards in challenges

SO I know challenges are fixed but often a recuring source of disapoointment seems to be that players already have the augments. Thus I propose that if for example you already have Viking heat immunity, you can click a button which will give a different augment (of the same type, so if the challenge gives Viking Heat immunity, then by swapping it I can only get heat immunity but for a hull I don't have it for). Now the catch is, the new augment will be a random one you don't have, so in effect I could secretly want Hunter heat immunity, but wind up getting Wasp Heat immunity. This change is only allowed 1 time and can cost maybe 50 tankoins? Not too much though I suppose, because that'd be a detterent for people. Perhaps something similar for turret augments and paints?

Good idea, but it shouldn't cost anything.

We already pay a lot for stuff in TO, way to much in fact.

A lot of F2P won't even have 50 tankoins, so that would leave them out of the equation straight away.

Well My guess is that a lot of F2P players don't wind up in such a situation in the first place, but I suppose so.

Personally I'd be against that, because challenges are really good in that players see what they're getting and can pay for exactly that. If there were to be augment containers, a lot of players wouldn't be as interested. I know for sure that if instead of viking stun immunity there was a stun immunity container, I wouldn't be buying the battle pass because I don't want to wind up with say Mammoth or Hornet stun immunity.

You are right! Another reason why they should not do it is because of non-buyers who collect their ''Tankoins'' and then wait until there is an item (Augment-Paint) that suits their interests! I don't think ''augment containers'' would affect buyers but it's certainly something that would affect non-buyers, and not in a good way! It was said that the developers were planning to do something about that (items you already have in challenges) but I don't know what's taking so long!

If players could swap rewards in challenges, they would create the "perfect challenge" for them and then simply stop playing after they get anything they want and as you can tell, that's not what the developers would want.

Oh no, I meant swap rewards they already have. So, if I have Heavyweight for Mammoth, I can click a swap button, which will chose a random heavy weight augment I don't have and put it in the challenge. If I have every single heavyweight, no swapping happens.

Basically Ideas about increasing battle funds or rewards are Declined.. For sure your idea wasn't absent from developers' minds.. But we don't know, maybe they intentionally choosing the Augments that most of players have or the most useless Augments. So your idea doesn't make sense

It's not really an increase in rewards, it's just that if you can swap out augments you already have for random ones of the same type you don't have, maybe you get something that you really want (and thus buy the BP). It might lead to more purchases for the battle pass.

Of course, we wouldn't want AP augments being swappable for example.

If the developers would add this feature, players will have all augments much sooner and they won't purchase battle passes anymore.
