Map Ideas?

Ever since i made my map and posted it on the forum, lots of people have been posting their ideas in the forum. I have made this topic so that people can post their map ideas or designs here. If you have a great idea, but don't know how to make it, please ask me and I will be Glad to make it for you (If I Can).

I think you should make a map that is a totally plain field with a small wall on each side, that only 1 tank could fit to hide behind. It would be a great test of skill for players

i wish i could draw it my hands shake too much it would take me long time :(
if u draw it don't forget tath can be the next new map who get on the servers if the dev' chooose it ;)

How about a map that is on a dry dock, two sides that have many piled up containers like you see in the silence map these should have ramps to offer sight lines and high firing points. Some randomly placed containers should be available for cover too. In the middle there should be a dry dock basically a massive pit that you can cliff dive in to, also it should have several ramps down into it and tunnels aswell the flag capture points should be though a maze of containers or on top of a pile of containers

Love the water and prison map, seems you beat me to the ideas (a series of achipeligoes-water, and my other idea with two sides with a big drop in the middle in a dry dock). They are almost excatly what I envisaged.

 

Now you show you can code water, there has to be map for a mountain or a quarry with many tears/ levels for mining and a water fall ( the water doesnt have to move it can be flat water turned sideways),lots of tree cover from the high ground with ramps up, and the water fall leading down to a lake and a small pretty village

Another idea for a a map is Two opposing pyramids or zigurats ( these have tiers so better for tanks), seperated by desert and sand dunes some ruins in the middle for cover. The pyramids need ways up the out side and tunnels though the middle with the flag points on top, there should probably be several secret tunnels as in subways and Iran map for getways and approaches too.

another idea for a map is something called Twilight zone.

 

An ordinary looking map with two small villages on each side but the only way to get to the other village is by jumping over ramps that separate the two sides. This twilight zone that you have to jump though is anti gravity like in the space version of madness, so your not quite sure how you will land.

another map idea is for a maze of brick walls (like Hampton Court maze or any other mazes, flag points at the rear of each maze and a section of open ground or court yard in the middle. No secret tunnels, the map should be best played from birds eye camera angle no high points but some cover points to race to in the court yard. If people liked it it could be made for different tank sizes one with a maze only small enough for a wasp to get through, another big enough for Mammoths.

 

If two opposing mazes don't appeal then one big maze and a central court yard

How about a double smiley face map :D

 

The teeth are either craters or buildings

the nose is a large building

and the eyes are craters

 

each nose is a base for the flag on top

 

They should be smile to the left nose in the middle eyes to the right, and the other side should be a mirror of that so eyes next to the eyes nose then teeth at the right, and the map should be 8 shaped with a single or double crossing point between them
