Map Ideas?

This is my first map. I had to record a video using Alternativa Editor, because I'm having trouble uploading the Map to view in TanksTestingTool :cry:

 

Also, the most exciting thing about this map is: at each of the team's bases, they have a legit hideout spot to hide the enemy's flag, giving the map's name Aggravation.

Whenever I try to test out my map, this comes up.

alk,

your map isn't so bad, but in the bottom of the buildings you have a different ground as the grass so for the big house in the middle and some other house you have grass and just after rock. i hope you understood me, sorry for my really bad english

This isn't a bad map at all Alklines, but when you place the Bonus Drops (the orange color) you should place it about two spaces above the ground, instead of inside the ground.

 

Except for this, it is a quite good map you have :wink:

Perhaps try the Alternativa Editor and with it you can create maps like these, and even more.

Right now there is plenty, even too many I'd say - quite a few are barely used at all. Why do you need more?

 

i agree why need more maps? i haven't played in most of them, I've only played in about 6 of the maps and well..most tankers don't play in other maps such as Bobruisk , Molotov, Osa and Skylark and many more.

There's really no need for maps yet, until players start to check out the un-played maps yet.. when then happens maybe there will be more maps-maybe not. :wink: :mrgreen: :roll: :wink:

Some of the World of tanks maps are pretty cool. If I were you, I would look at some of them and maybe put them in a tanki style of map.

I think you should make a completely indoor map which consists of a a bunch of piles of boxes and cement and you can go up to a balcony to snipe with the Railgun.

pretty decent design. but the texture blending is terrible. perhaps look at cheese's pinned thread to see how to blend textures.
