Honestly, I recently came back to Tanki a few months later. I have been playing this game for 4 years. I think that shards are SUCH a great addition to the game. You can get one free container each day without even playing. It's honestly great. I also like that you can stack up the containers. I want to hear you guy's opinions on shard. Please vote on the poll and reply

No, shards give free player like me too much containers, too much free supplies and free augment, even free animated paint,

how can free player like me get so much in a free playing style.

Well shards have been long time coming if u ask me, since P2W had to be resolved at some point and shards mostly do that except for crisis and EMP Salvo / AP augments ( which is fine in my opinion ).
I assume there will be new ways to get shards like challenges or maybe even weekly missions but still don't know, however rewards for them is something we need to think about. If you ask me we should have more types of containers for shards. 

For example:
Ultra containers for 200 / 250 shards
Color shot containers for 1000 / 2000 shards
Augment container for 2500 / 5000 shards
Paint containers for 2500 / 5000 shards
Skin containers for 5000 / 10000 shards

Now yes these prices seem high but keep in mind these type of containers would give a color shot / paint / augment or skin without any doubt ( so u cant be disappointed because you got 3.5k crystals or 125 mines ), and u would not be able to get a duplicate. Also u can't just giveaway every color shot / paint / augment or skin that easily so...

Loot pool wise, Color shot container would have EVERY color shot u can get, same with augment container ( except EMP Salvo / AP augments since that's gonna be OP to giveaway so go get ultra containers ), paint container ( I'm not sure about paints like Cryo since they are exclusive but they put cyborg in normal containers even though it was supposed to be exclusive, so it won't be anything new ) and skin containers ( even ultra skins ).

So yeah it's a great edition but for what they can do with it, right now to me it feels incomplete

The shards update has been just the most awful, it has caused me such distress and psychological harm. I mean I've had to endure getting a free 100k crystal container, multiple augments on my alts and even been able to finally get enough Repair kits/batteries to compete with buyers in battle. Things in the game just can't get much worse!

I think it's completely fine right now.

Anyways, I do agree there's a lot that can be added in the future. But I seriously hope they do not nerf any other forms of rewards.

I think that shards are too much cool and Tanki should leave it as it is.

And they Should NOT  add an option to buy it on the Shop.

We already have too many currencies that buyers can just obtain via wallet money (like Crystals, Tankcoins, and Stars)

Ummm well, technically you can "buy" shards - as shards are simply "part of containers" to quote the developers - 100 shards = 1 container. Shards are basically the same things as containers, ultimately.

Shards are great!

An extra 365 Containers free just for logging in daily, without playing!

Plus we get Shards from Daily Missions and Special Missions, which adds to almost 3 Containers a day!

I made calculations in the past in another Forum topic, and I calculated that F2P players can get 500 Containers annually more with other areas like Contests, etc.!

 

Let's continue getting better over time!
