# Augment for Railgun? ? 

What about augment like for Magnum, that land a proximity mines! Aim for a wall and stick the mine from afar, any tank in the vicinity (5 m trigger it and get damages). Smaller damage than normal mine but larger area of action. (After that you can start to sell Splash Damage Immunity hull augment). ?

Ricocheting railgun augment that would be cool (+2).

Augment that gives splash damage too. (After that you can start to sell Splash Damage Immunity hull augment). ?

Augment with dual Hot/Cold core: if damage is 30% below average, add freeze effect, if it is 30% above average add heat effect. Like this it would never be freeze/heat all the time and you get a random effect.  

Overdrive crippler Augment - Reduce the overdrive charge by 50% for 10 seconds - when shot is 30% above average. (After that you can start to sell Crippler Immunity hull augment). ?

What a surprise, tesla will be VERY powerful.

Doubtless it will also have a big price tag on it, via containers for all those P2W players.

Burning questions lol, what a joke, what about the OP FLYING HACK. Why are the real questions not being answered that affect game play in a drastic and unfair way.

As usual they refuse to answer why they bring in all these OP updates.

TO needs a complete reworking, and all this lot do is bring in new stuff that will do nothing to balance the game out.

Well at least the kids can play THE GAME. How riveting.

The new Railgun HD looks so promising. I do like its appearance a lot. I hope that Railgun is going to get a burning augments to set tanks on fire and a freezing augment that freezes enemies solid so that they stop moving when taking flags and balls.

As for the Tesla turret, I am so delighted to hear the hot news about it in this V-Log 288. The Tesla turret appears to be complete now. All it needs now is fine tuning to make sure that it works properly in Tanki Online's main servers without triggering any bugs or game crashes. I hope that the Tesla turret is going to be released with multiple augments, shot color effects, HD and XT skins and other useful stuff for this awesomely cool looking turret.

The good thing about releasing new turrets and hulls is that this will excite existing players and even attract new players to join and play Tanki Online. The more players we have playing Tanki Online, the better and this will make this game grow even bigger and better than ever.

As for new battle modes and new maps, I am also thrilled with excitement to hear the hot news on that. I hope that next week's V-Log 289 will reveal more hot news on that as well. Good luck everyone and enjoy every hot new update like this being released for Tanki Online to bring us a forever better gaming experience.

Dude, I actually do not want to se Railgun having status Augments. Soon enough, every turret will have them.

Tesla Turret, looks so weird, it's bigger and taller than the original model.

Also, we don't have any acknowledgement for Lunar New Year this year!


Besides that, I still think Tanki Online is a fun game! FIX MM!

Railgun's HD model looks much better than that of Smoky. But no status effects for Railgun, please.

Nice V-Log today!

I hope people are satisfied, especially with getting their questions answered, getting news on the Tesla Turret in working progress, release of Railgun HD soon, and the spectacular 70% special sales throughout holidays!

 

Let's continue staying positive, giving our feedback, plus our support to the Tanki development, and we'll see more awesome rewards in the future!

If so, they’d have to slow the speed to match its insane new abilities which might make it up, and if they don’t do enough, it’d be op. Way better if they’d just leave it be and fix other things which actually need attention imo.

Both can be done at the same time.

Railgun is not OP, so it could certainly get buffed a bit now with new augments.

All turrets are getting new standard skin and moving parts, it the right thing to comete and finilise the augments set at the same time.

That was pretty quick, smoky and railgun updtaed in such a short time,  plus all the bugs fixes, plus mobiles updates plus the MM changes.

Pretty cool to see my favourite turret (Railgun) getting some attention :) . Updates certainly are coming fast now that Flash is gone.

However I have to say, I really don't think Railgun needs any new augments. It already had the most in the game before the recent Smoky update, and it still has the second highest number after Smoky - turrets like Gauss, Thunder and Isida are much more badly in need of new Augments. However, if they want to give us some new ones - sure I guess.

Looking forward to using Tesla at last!

Also I wanted to give some feedback on recent updates (for some reason the patch thread was closed very fast, and I didn't have time to do so):

The shards change is simply brilliant, gives a huge income boost to F2P players and also makes hull augments more accessible (provided containers are not nerfed) which will help to give F2P players a chance vs buyer augments. I'm supposing this was done as Tanki are trying to generate money off ad revenue on Mobile (which is a clever strategy), and also to boost playtime on HTML5 - but the ad revenue has to be the main reason as otherwise this update wouldn't make sense, it would harm the economy too much. Thanks a loooot for this change!

The last balance patch was one of the best balance updates yet - Isida, Hammer and Striker, 3 of the weakest turrets buffed. However, I think Hammer AP is now too powerful - its AP effect duration needs to be reduced so that you can only get 2 shots off on the next clip before the AP effect expires rather than 3 currently, it is just far too dominant right now. I think Hammer should have had its reload reduced by 25% rather than a flat 2 seconds at all modifications, which would give a reload time of 4.5 seconds at Mk0 and 3.75 seconds at Mk8. Duplet also seems to be too weak now in comparison to regular Hammer, and other augments - it should have a slight reload reduction in my opinion.

Also, the varied number of players in battle is interesting - however there is a problem with the capture modes such as ASL/CTF/RGB. These modes are terribly imbalanced with large numbers of players, capturing in ASL/CTF/RGB in 12v12 is far too hard - I think these modes should remain only with smaller groups such as 6v6/8v8, or maybe at most 10v10. You should get more points for captures in ASL for larger battles, at least. Also TDM with 24 players ends too soon - increase the number of kills for larger numbers of players, for instance 90 kills for 10v10 and 105 for 12v12.

Overall, updates recently have been pretty great in my opinion - the game is heading in a better direction, after a lot of questionable updates last year.
