declined Discord Server

Hi Community Manager!

I thought to combine other famous game player and this game player in discord server which can help this game to lead some more player!

I am 100% sure that by this thing 

This game is gonna lead some more new player and there's are the few chances of getting old lefted tanki player back to this game!

@Thiedes see i mean by combing 2 games community in one discord server which can help this game to get popular + there are so many benifits for this game cuz this can increase the rate of players in tanki!

And ok, you would merge 2 communities,  but how can we make sure that every players that plays Tanki Online will also like the second community? Why would we choose this community and not another?

It's depends on u which one u want to merge

@brother_of_pro do u still think that our player will left and join another but I am saying No this thing is not gonna happen 

So many players lefted game but still they play tanki so I am 100% that we will not lose any player from this game

Never heard of such a merge like you're mentioning. How the hell is Tanki even supposed to get in contact with such insanely big games? It's not as easy as you think. Tanki doesn't have anything to offer for the games you mentioned, they wouldn't be interested at all...

Adding up with brother_of_pro, what are the odds that a lot our tanki players who probably don't know about the merging games, might prefer the 2nd game and stop paying attention to tanki @CaptainMilk?

Issue isn't really that, but rather choosing which game

I think if the merge will be it should be done with an equivalent games of Tanki size, not a horrible huge games like Minecraft or CoD. Though Tanki is better for me than those two but they're a very famous and way more bigger than Tanki.

Also I don't think Tanki should also merged with an equivalent games, because Tanki have its history and decent days that maybe way more hotter many games ever.

And on my Tanki should be more famous than Minecraft and many games, but this is the reality that Tanki is smaller than them for many reasons and many of the reasons are by the developers themselves.

I could just say "this isn't possible" and end the discussion there, but I want everyone in this thread to understand the issues with this suggestion, because a number of people made incorrect assumptions here.

First of all, the idea being proposed is unfortunately quite difficult to understand, but the way I interpret it is this — CaptainMilk (great name btw) wants to create an official Discord server that combines communities from two different games, one of which is Tanki, into one big community where everyone is mixed together. The purpose of this is to make Tanki more popular.

Here's why this doesn't work:

• VERY few people actually use Discord. The program itself is only popular in English speaking countries, and Tanki being a Russian game with a majority Russian audience, I'd say maybe 5% of all players ever tried discord, and maybe 1% use it regularly. In Russia, Discord is barely used at all — most people never even heard of it, which includes many of my Russian Tanki friends.
• There is no reason to assume that Discord activity will affect the game's popularity in any meaningful way. The most likely outcome is that you'll get maybe a few thousand new players (which is nothing for a game that had millions of different people playing it throughout the years), but those people will just leave after a few minutes of playing the game.
• If player numbers are decreasing, it means there is an inherent problem within the game itself, and you don't fix something like that by using resources to get a new "wave" of replacement players. Because the problem is still there, so after the initial increase players will still continue to leave because the problem is still there. The ONLY way to fix this is to fix the issue that's the cause of player dissatisfaction in the first place. And it's not as simple as, say, removing all P2W elements, because all aspects of the project (i.e. Tanki Online) need to be considered, which also includes monetisation for generation of cash flow.
• There is no incentive for any other game to just merge their community with that of Tanki. In fact, it doesn't even make sense, because you'll just end up with a server divided into two distinct groups of people, who never even talk to one another. This would only perhaps make sense if there were two different games from the same publisher, so for example if the Tanki discord server got merged with King Hardcore (assuming it's actually still a thing and has its own community).
• And last but not least, communities happen naturally. You will achieve nothing if you just force people into one place and tell them to talk to each other and share ideas. Those people will just leave and make their own communities the way they like it :)

Strongly agree with you, I don't use Discord (just have an account) and most of the people don't know or use it. And most of the Tanki users don't use it also

I imagine Discord is for.. A real gamer with Mouse RGB Keyboard RGB Case RGB Headset RGB and everything around is RGB and for sure playing other games not Tanki..

Agree with you, Tanki popularity haven't went down because of P2W only No people mindset have changed and now most of the people are just using Mobile phones rarely to find a PC/Laptop user, so this directly affected Tanki's popularity.

But for sure things like EMP Gauss or Booster aren't a P2W things more than a Farce! just unacceptable things and make the players (and maybe I) just disrespect the game and developers' actions.

Yes I joint this forum because I play Tanki, it's meaningless for me to go for a forum for a game that I don't know it. And in real there aren't any game that I know everything in it like how I know or how I care about Tanki, and no game could come near that. So no meaning of joining any community for any game (for me).
