I used to play alot from 2009-2012 I want too start back playing but noticed that the game has changed a lot. Would yall recommend making a new account and grinding back upp the ranks because i have very little crystals? also my account name was changed besause of inactivity how can i get that changed to something else?

If you didn't play for such a long time, it's going to be super difficult for you to catch up with everything that have changed. Our Tanki Wiki can come in handy for some situations, I'd recommend you to take a look at it when you face something unfamiliar.

One advice I can say to you, remove all of your old thoughts about the game and start it as if you a new player to the game. Everything literally have changed

First of all, welcome back to the Tanki Online community. Really glad to see people rejoining the Community.

In my opinion, I would like to suggest you to keep your old account and create a new one. Earning crystals has become a lot easier these days than those back in 2011. You can earn quite a lot of crystals from daily missions, containers and challenges. I would suggest you to create a new account so that you can start afresh. You can get a feel of all the new equipments and changes in your new account and enjoy good battles with high ranked players in your old account. 

To change the nickname of your old account you can contact Tech Support via this form.
