In other words, let us vote for the next HD skin and/or new Prime, Legacy, Ultra, etc. I think this is a very good way to bridge the gap between what the players want and what the developers do/create.

There's no reason to assume that developers are currently adding skins players don't want. On the contrary, they're adding skins for the most popular turrets and hulls, in order to generate the most interest in them. In fact, I'm willing to bet that the next HD skin will be either for Thunder or Viking.

Remember that what players want is very often completely different from what you want :P

In my opinion developers should add skins to turrets/hulls which have least skins. Wasp is best example, last time it got new skin was 6 years ago, while Hornet and Railgun recently got it's 5th skin. I know it might be based on popularity of turret/hull, but why there is situation where one item keep getting new skins, while other item's latest skin was added 6 years ago?

I think hulls skins are a secondary thing for the developers compared to turrets.. Because after a hard work in a turret skin they can milk the buyers with a new Augments that are only available from containers.. But when a hull skin released, nothing can generate them money from it.

It would be nice if developers let us vote on the next HD Skin. But all skins will come eventually. The developers want to release the HD Skins in order with which they release new Augments, that come with it.

Like people have said above, developers will release the most known Turrets and Hulls because they find that more original to work off of.

 

But all the HD Skins will be in the Garage very soon.

Right now, it's better to guess which one you think will be next, and get pumped up to see what it will look like when it releases.

Yeah, I'm guessing Firebird and Striker Prime will come in 2030 or something.
