declined Birthday Gift Mechanism To All Players

Every person's birthday should be a day to remember. They want to get attention, have a party to celebrate, go somewhere to enjoy themselves, or do something they find the best on that day.

But most importantly, they want to get at least one Gift for their birthday! However, not everyone celebrates birthdays with parties, or by going anywhere, due to their religion, nationality, or nature. They might just get a "Happy Birthday" from others and that would be it.

 

To make every single person's birthday the best it can be, here is an idea we can/should implement:

• All Tanki Players should get an option in the Settings, or other special area, where they can put in their Birthday date.
• This is a ONE-TIME feature! Whatever date the Tanker chooses and submits, will be the Birthday they have in the game.
• If someone needs to reset their Birthday because they may have made a mistake, then they can contact Tech Support.

 

With every Tankers' Birthday inputted onto their accounts, on the day of their Actual Birthday, they will be able to choose a Gift that they can redeem! They would have options given to them of which Gift they want. The Gift Box options would be available for a reasonable amount of time so that the Tankers have enough time to redeem 1 of them.

(Give ideas on what Gift options there can be for a Tanker's Birthday, below.)

On this day, we want Tankers to be really excited, and to get the appreciation that they deserve, by giving them something nice!

Sorry to say this, but the idea will not be implemented. According to Hazel, such a gift would be quite pointless, not to mention bad for the economy. If it was added, people would abuse it by setting their birthday to be on the next day after account creation, and thus they just get a bunch of free stuff for no reason, making them less likely to make a purchase with money. Besides, there is simply no point having a gift you can collect only once a year.

Maybe we should do that on Tanki's BDay, so everyone will get gifts on the same day and it can't be abused.

a simple fix to this abuse would be: Player can set their birthday after one year the account has been created. Simple as that

But yeah, the devs are greedy, doubt stuff like this will be implemented "giving for free" isn't something that exists in their vocabulary.

Indeed, but it's also the most recent added feature, they added it for the sole purpose of keeping a player playing every single day, probs because they are losing more and more :P

Well that's the point of Tanki birthday in game celebration (such as special gold boxes) that the Tanki devs do
