Why can't we open the shop in the Test Server?

This should be allowed! It's really frustrating, and enabling the shop would be good so players can test out various skins, paints, bundles etc.

The test server isn't meant for testing equipment. It exists for testing new updates and finding bugs in them. The shop is only open if a shop update is being tested.

Hello!

As said by @poke971  test server is meant only for testing purposes. Any items purchased will be removed after testing ends.

The steps to access Shop in test server can be found here.

I don't have any gold boxes, so i cannot drop any.. what do i do?

That isn't the purpose of the test server, but nothing's preventing you from testing equipment under the limited conditions. Nothing more than that.

The method works if you have 0 Gold Boxes, there's no need to drop any. However, I've heard that the glitch has been fixed and no longer works. (I don't play the test server myself, so I don't know if that's true)

As mentioned above, the test server as its name suggests is only for testing new updates, collecting data, feedback, etc...Whenever the developers feel the need to and besides, It isn't Intended for actual gameplay. If a feature is not available, then that's that. Nothing can be done as you're on the test server.
