Unable to turn hull when shooting

Question

Bizarre, but if I'm holding down spacebar firing and moving forward simultaneously, I'm unable to turn my tank left, but am able to turn right.  Turning the tank isn't a problem otherwise though.

I've tried 3 different keyboards, but exact same result.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Were you able to turn hull when shooting before?

As far as I know, cheaper keyboards were made in a way which prevents you to press on certain keys together - they put many keys on the same "circuit" of sorts within the wiring of the keyboard. This prevents multiple keys in the same region of the keyboard from being pressed simultaneously. If I'm not mistaken the only way to solve this is to purchase a better keyboard, unless you could do it before and then there should be a way to fix it.

Interesting. I have had this problem too in the past. I don't think I have it now.

I just let go of the up arrow when turning my turret. I also just adjusted with my playing style when I had this problem.

You can also adjust as you play.

But maybe just wait and see what happens the next day. It will fix itself as time passes and if the developers see this as they are playing and testing.

I didn't know that about cheap keyboards, but I'm thinking this may be the case because a while ago a puppy messed up the cord on my keyboard, then as a broke student I had to resort to the cheap keyboard that came with my PC.  Even borrowed a couple of unused keyboards from friends, and got the same result.

I guess I'll just try to adjust my playing style like @thunderhunter123 suggested.

Thanks guys.

Just to be on the safer side, could you try using a virtual keyboard once and see If it's the same? If so, I suppose it is as spy said above.

This happens when your keyboard isn't supporting a thing named "Anti-Ghosting". If your keyboard doesn't support it, it's basically what Spy explained already.

Better watch out the next time you're buying a keyboard ?

You can change your keyboard setting.

I had a ghosting problem when moving using the arrow keys, using Z & X when rotating and space bar when shooting at the same time.

I had my movement key changed ("L" for forward, "." for backward, "," for left, and "/" for right).

Check your settings for mistaken rerouted buttons. I don't know how the heck it happened to me a year ago. Forced me into mouse controls lol
