Aim Assist for PC

Recommended Posts

Simple.

PC should have slight aim assist, but not as strong as mobile.

Why does mobile have it? For players to get used to the game.

What about PC players? Sure there are more controls, but you will need to get used to the game too.

So, if a player has mastered Mobile, he/she will have a permanent aim assist? This seems pretty corrupt to me.

Also, idk if it is just me, but locking on with Striker and Gauss seem far faster on Mobile than on PC. I've seen players make shots that would look fake/impossible on PC and is nerve-racking.

I am suggesting to add an aim assist to PC controls to compare it to the Mobile controls, but won't be as strong.

Or for Mobile players, remove it entirely/nerf it along the way when you reach higher ranks. With so much action in battles, it is pretty hard to miss.

Aim Assist was added to the mobile version of the game because it's much harder to aim with mobile than with a PC. When using a PC, your screen is bigger, you have more fps and less input delay (in most cases) and as you mentioned above, you have more control.

I think Hovering hulls is a really enough thing for mobile players, and the Aim Assist shouldn't be combined with Auto-shooting. Because after that there is no meaning of playing..

With Hovering hulls/Aim Assist/Auto shooting, mobile players are still in a disadvantage from PC players. But what you want to do after that? they must be in a disadvantage (though I hope for everyone of them an Intel I9 32GB RAM PC 2021).

Like if someone play in Nokia panda?? What will we give him from the advantages? A comprehensively system play instead of him? Should we give the players advantage every further more the go in the hardness of controls?   Ok why I'm angry though I said they still in a disadvantage?  Basically I don't care whatever the player be in a hardness of controls or what, I only care about him input.. Sometimes I play when I drink a tea, I play with one hand.. Should they give me an advantage as they know I'm skilled and I can do more performance? For sure no. Ok what happening with mobile players? They're doing a less input in the controls, and they have more advantages ! It's the same as the developers know they're skilled so they gave them advantages?  Ok I will go furthermore with myself, I know I'm really skilled so I wont play I will assume that if I played I will win so no need of playing !

Will aim assist really make things better? It's already annoying when the existing PC auto-aim prioritizes tanks closest to you rather than the ones closest to your line of fire.

But in real auto aim in mobile is a horizontal which mean even if you haven't indicate the enemy directly, the system will tolerate this mistake and will hit the enemy.

If your shot was directly on the enemy the system wont interrupt, but if your shot was in the wrong place in example between two players. For sure you wont care the system will hit who, because you in real lost your shot, but the system forgave you.

It was worth a try.

What about nerfing the aim assist from Mobile? It is pretty strong.

I've seen people abuse the aim assist in xp bp games where they use bluestacks or another emulator to play tanki. They can use their kb, but the aiming is like in mobile. Its basically legal aimbot.

Haven't thought about that. I can literally reroute my game pad controls to keyboard and use hovering Hulls.

Nice loophole.
