Tesla or Damage Spread Rework?

Which would you want to be added first?

    • The electric turret we've been waiting for since last summer.

    • The new critical damage and damage spread rework that will help make status effect augments stronger (at least, that's what was implied when the vlog stated that the Rail augments were "weak")

I'll be straightforward, do you want Tesla in the game first or do you wanna see a rework to the damage mechanics of all turrets first (the universal critical damage update)?

The new critical damage is op but if it is for everyone then there is no fun in using it .

It can be added in ultra containers.

I'm not enthusiastic for any of them.. Tesla turret I think it will be a bad turret like overdrives update. Not sure how will it do to the game.

About Damage rework, I'm strongly against it. I just felt disgusted when I saw the constant damage of 1200 of Railgun, I feel it's something weird to do the same damage 24/7 with your turret. Kinda boring

Oh and LCR can do an average of 1680 damage (I think this how LCR will be after the update), that will guarantee you to kill the medium hulls always with DD. But you will never have a chance of killing a small hull with one-shot.

I want to see Tesla.

I don't want to see Criticals.

 

High damage will be nerfed. The test server is pretty accurate as it is in the middle.

The critical damage is obviously false, but praying on chance to kill someone is still pretty unhealthy for the game. Smoky is the only one that should have it, otherwise it is no longer unique. It would only be recognized by its Augments.

I mean . . . critical hits won't offer any extra damage if your opponent doesn't have a protection module against your turret. And double armour, Titan's dome, Defender, etc will still offer protection. I'd say it's far from leaving a kill up to chance.

Smoky's critical hit offers unconditional extra damage, so it's not really the same.

Clarify? I might have missed a detail on the Test Server.

Test server values are massively inflated. Actual critical damage will probably be similar to standard damage - it will just ignore protection modules. So if a target has no protection modules, the overall damage dealt will be more or less the same regardless of whether a shot is a critical or not.
