while tanki x was open to all before 2019 was tanki online also open and working , if so why both the versions were working and at that time  you developers were making tanki 2.0 , why ?????????? I know you said about to only ask about tanki online buut i wana know the history of tanki online beter i read the tanki wiki a lot. reason: while i was playing in 2019 i never knew about tanki x and i even played tanki online so thus i am asking!?

The open testing for Tanki 2.0 opened on May 11, 2011, but the project itself was canceled during the spring of 2012.

Tanki X was released around 2015 until it closed on 2019.

Both versions were available in one way or another while the original Tanki Online was already available.

Both Tanki 2.0 and Tanki X were meant to be the replacements for Tanki Online with better graphics. I am not sure why Tanki 2.0 was cancelled in 2012, but Tanki X failed because Unity (the plugin in which TX was developed in) stopped being supported by browsers and thus it lost the ability to effectively replace Tanki Online. For some time, TX run alongside TO, but since the market was oversaturated with this type of games and because Tanki X faced a fierce competition from its big brother Tanki Online, it did not generate enough buzz and revenue to support development of that game.

I very much doubt Alternativa will jump into another "Tanki project". The reason behind Tanki X was to bring better graphics and new options for development that where impossible to implement in the outdated Flash technology of Tanki Online. Now that Tanki Online is functioning in HTML5 that has far superior options than Flash, it's very probable that they will focus all their resources on Tanki Online. Besides, a lot of Tanki X mechanics have been already implemented in TO, so it would be very likely unprofitable for them to start TX in HTML5.
