I see, well I sadly don't have the options as I have few hull immunities lol. I probably would equip it sometimes, although yes I think I would generally take one of the other augments if I had them. Even if the enemy team had a Shock Freeze, even then killing that player and having stun immunity against Hoppers/Hunters or perhaps EMP Immunity if there were enough enemies with certain augments would be my preference - but I suppose there are times when Cold Immunity could be useful.

My favourite hull is Dictator (or Hopper currently ), but I also plan to use Viking more when I get some good augments for it, lol.

Yep, which is why I took advantage of Good Tanki and bought Autocannon back when it was only 180,000 crystals and 30% off during the 2018 Halloween Sale :)

 

Still though, I find myself going back to Default Smoky around half the time just because it's high-damaging normal shots are pretty satisfying when they land.

Dictator is awesome, I just wished it had a little more health than Viking and Hunter lol.

 

Me and my friend were hating on Dictator in 2017 and 2018 cause it was the slowest medium hull, yet it only had the same health as Viking and Hunter so we came to the conclusion that Viking was the best one to use cause it granted the best speed for it's health.

Viking is a great hull with its speed (and nowadays the overdrive too), though before the new overdrives I liked Dictator a lot because it was the most stable medium hull for my favourite turret (Rail), and good for Smoky too. If you are wanting to hit a long range shot you need stability, can easily get knocked off with Viking whereas Dictator will not - and Dictator's turret position also makes it really good for "hit and hide" tactics.

However now the overdrives are here too that is a big factor. I like Dictator's overdrive, although once you get endgame 20/20 drones which can give you high supply uptime it becomes slightly less powerful, and Dictator starts to lose some of the advantages it has over Viking - such as higher supply uptime.

@Marcus When announcing the Challenges, can you please announce what the specified Hull is and the Augment it will get? It's getting really annoying that you announce the Challenge 1 day before it starts, but you don't actually tell us what the Augments are going to be. All you do is show us a photo of the Augment icon. Turret Augments are easy to tell, so they're not much of a problem, but since all Hulls have the same Augments, there's no way for us to tell what it'll actually be. So please announce the Augments when announcing the Challenges, thank you.

Don't forget the Supercharge effect which guarantee 100% critical chance (for a shot or for a time period?) will be added to Dictator's OD and Hornet's OD in near future.  Dictator could rise when the Supercharge update is live.

I have EMP smoky and it is OP, this augment MUST NOT be a massively used one, it'll turn playing without EMP immunity into a real suffer, if there'll be 1-2 EMP smoky in each battle.

We usually get the information in time and post it in the Wiki, but we didn't get it yet this time.

Thankfully there is an EMP Immunity in the same battle pass, that will help a bit at least. I think that is a sensible decision to release the immunity at the same time as a certain powerful status effect augment, so battles can be somewhat more stable for those high ranks who can more commonly afford the battle pass. But for those not buying this pass, yes it could be an issue. I don't have any EMP Immunity, and if I choose not to buy the pass I will still be in that category.

Though we did all survive the Incendiary Brand Vulcan battle pass though, so hopefully it will be OK lol.
