Berlin(MM)

So Berlin has kind of been a tough map for me lately and I'm trying to see why. For instance, here is a position (On the red side I believe) that I have been finding pretty advantageous in the few games I've played on Berlin: 

This spot lets anyone with a long range turret shoot down upon the enemy (who are relatively open since low cover) , and also proves to be annoying since I also find myself out in the open against people who abuse this position with magnum, railgun or gauss. Any thoughts on this position? I'm sure other people might have the same problem. Any info about this map is welcome cuz I'm just trying to see new ways for a better experience.

I like Berlin overall but I think it needs some modifications to be suitable for MM. At the very least flag positions need to be changed.

The map is beautiful but not well balanced, as too much building on one side too open on another sode

I like the map.  But it's too big for 7-min battles.  When you respawn it takes forever to get back into things.

It's a nice map, but it's not a good fit for MM. It doesn't really work well with the fast pace of the MM system because I've found that most of my time is spent driving. If I use a light hull, I get to where I want to go quickly, but I also die quickly. If I use a heavy hull, I'm driving for a really long time even though I survive for longer at my destination.

I personally like and use that position a lot. Gauss is literally the most powerful weapon(In my opinion) from that position and can wipe out entire enemy team. I really like the Map, but I do not think that it is that good in MM as a team has a clear advantage. Siege in Berlin can be totally dominated by a team which has the position on its side, nevertheless I still love to play in the Map(easy kills and wins with just a little effort).

As others said, it's beautiful but not good for MM.

So this is why Gauss get a ferocious nerf in its splash-radius.. It's not the most powerful weapon No, no turret can wipe out an entire team than Gauss. So this is why it is OP, it was ridiculous before the nerf.
