Nerf hopper's overdrive

Tbh it would be funny if stun was removed from it, would probably lose a lot of popularity if the case, especially with the upcoming supercharged coming, I guess we'll have to wait and see

I have a suggestion, make a delay for the stun.   How it will work?  Actually no way to make a delay for the stun only, I see the best thing is to make a delay for Hopper OD completely for a one second.  When you click SHIFT, Hopper will pulled something to the back then it will jump forward like the bow.

Just use heat resistance or fire prot

To me, I honestly don't care for it's burning AoE, it doesn't seem to do much, I only care for it's stun, hence why i use stun immunity on my hunter etc in CTFs

i think this has already been discussed a while ago, either in a v-log or in a certain topic on the forum. Anyhow it was concluded that this was not a good solution to the problem, I cannot recall what the exact arguments were to be truly honest but I am certain that this was not how the problem should be tackled

Even if all of the developers are seeing that isn't a perfect balance, and I see it's a perfect.. where is the problem? Having a different opinion isn't a wrong thing, and who said companies don't make mistakes.. Big companies like Samsung or Apple maybe do a mistakes that some single developer can know it's a wrong.

Not saying that companies don't make mistakes, nor am I claiming that your suggestion is bad; I agree that hopper needs a nerf. However, you thinking your idea is perfect won't help to solve the issue with hopper. As developers or helpers mentioned before this was not the right approach to a solution. Not saying that I know the perfect solution, because I don't, even so brainstorming is in no way bad and may even open new eyes

My speech is such a general for everyone to read.. Especially when the difference in opinions is on a thing like Hopper which is buffed intentionally, if developers said my idea isn't gonna work. They have to nerf it anyway. And my suggestion even if it was a horrible, I think it's better than the current situation of the hull that the developers stayed on it.

But if developers do really think that the current stat of Hopper is a balanced.. I can say definitely I'm a better thinker than them. Which is impossible to happen.   So I can say they just left Hopper with its current situation villainy  Which is the correct thing.

I honestly don't think Hopper is that overpowered, but the most annoying part about it is that you may thing you're going into a normal situation against a Hopper and then they activate their OD and it's bye bye to you. I think the best way to nerf it would be to make its OD wait a few seconds to activate, similar to Hunter but longer, make other ODs able to disable it, and show some sign during the activation period that the Hopper is activating. Since a lot of turrets are able to one-shot the Hopper with Double Power, this would give them a period of time to react by taking down the Hopper.

I have a solution to fix Hopper. Convert all hovering hulls into tracked hulls(This game isn't called Hovercrafti), and then remove overdrives from the game returning the Zero Supply OD, with a few tweaks. Oh, also remove Crusader, as, we only need 9 hulls and 3 classes that equal each other out with 3 hulls each. Boom, I just fixed your Hopper problem.

Crusader should be converted to a new turret instead.

One that shoots slightly cold icicles and whose special ability for the default form of a turret is having the ability to inflict AP - something none of the other turrets can do in their default form.

I don't think so that by removing stun effects from hopper will stop it from taking golds. They will still be able to fly from above and take golds without getting shots ( Unless you have magnum and skills ).

Yeah, but atleast it would make it less tedious. Maybe the Hopper misses the Gold Box, and the other tanks (that are only burning) rush to it and take it?
