It won't be the worst drone if you need to have it fully upgraded to get the full effect of DA and DD, and I think Brutus has been chosen to be the no-batteries-required drone because it is cheaper to upgrade

So Brutus will become default equipment for all players and anyone who wants their drones to do anything else will have to fully upgrade them if they also want to get the full effect of DA and DD

So if / when this update happens (if not before), my priority will be buying and upgrading Brutus before I upgrade my other drone

It's still a lot cheaper for me to upgrade Brutus from 0/20 to 20/20 than upgrade my other drone from 8/20 to 20/20

All my drones are upgraded to the max, so I have the full potential with them, thus being in the legend ranks helps a lot with that, with this new update.

Speaking of the Tesla turret, since I am very excited about this upcoming turret, when will Tesla be released? I just want to know the release date because Hazel has not told us yet. I know that Hazel still needs more time to test out Tesla properly with a mass testing, but I still want to know the release date, or the appropriate date at which Tesla will be released.

At that point I'd rather to have the current drones we have now than that.

Not consuming battery is what I wanted for Brutus except nerfing the supplies' effects.

Based what I have seen in the VLog, Telsa does not have any recoil at the moment.

I agree with you. I have watched V-Log 295 multiple times already to take a closer look at Tesla. This turret is really cool. I do like its good Isida-like looks and its low damage dealt by electromagnetic bolts. I bet Tesla's mechanics idea was taken from Slick Clyde's lighting from the PlayStation 1 game called Vigilante 8 game.

Maybe, later on Tesla will get some kind of recoil. Who knows. At least, Tesla is expected to be released with two skins. One of them being HD as its first primary skin and the other an XT skin. Skins are important so we need them for Tesla on its release day.

Developers said in this episode of the V-Log that in the future Tesla, when released, will open the doors to many augment opportunities and ideas. I hope that this is indefinitely true because Tesla would be noobish without augments. Augments could greatly increase Tesla's damage in favour of weakening another parameter such as the speed at which its plasma ball travels.

Tesla's appearance has a strange look from behind as it the back of this turret was another turret. I am not sure if that is made for cosmetic looks, but is Tesla has a secondary weapon from behind, then that's anyone's guess. Maybe, that could be true, but useful to electrocute enemies from behind.

This is even more satisfying. I played two 1 hour pro battles in space mode. This is my second best battle with lots of crystals.

I used to play like this in the old days of Tanki Online before the matchmaking system came out.

It is a good thing that developers are discussing about upgrades and micro upgrades, but will they discuss about new HD skins being released and when Tesla will be released? Those are the discussions I want to hear in the next V-Log 296. However, lets hope they mention that in next week's V-Log 297.
