Why is My K/D getting worse???

I really don't understand why my K/D is getting worse. It is at 1.22 and using a calculator it is precisely 1.21585365854 despite a few battles before it was at 1.21585365854. My k/d in battle is positive, so I do not understand why my K/D is getting worse.

Also, any advice on how to stop my K/D decrease would be appreciated.

I think this topic is better for "Game Discussion"...

You can increase your K/D easily by just using sniper turrets and sitting in the corner of the map, your K/D will easily go up 3.0 . And you have never to care about the real battle object like capturing the flag or capturing the points, these will drain you K/D quickly.

But honestly !! who cares about the K/D, it doesn't mean you're skilled or not, it only does mean that you're stubborn and cares about the kills or you're a more teammate and care about the real objective.

Though of my less cares about the K/D.. I really care and observe my K/D I don't want it to go down 1.0

If you want to increase K/D then try to learn new game tactics for any turret, for example Shaft, find your best place for camping.

In order to prevent your K/D from decreasing, you need to have a K/D of 1.23 or higher in every battle you participate in.

Meaning for every 5 times you die, you should kill 6 or 7 tanks.

In addition, not using modules can also eats away your K/D like me.

Use a Heavy Hull and strong tank to defeat more enemies and get destroyed less.

Attack from far away, maybe from your base for all battles. This will give you no deaths.

Use Saboteur Drone to lay mines around your territory, so no one can come and destroy you.

Doing some things like this will increase your K/D gradually.

if you're looking for only increasing ur k/d, ill give u one of the best tips, join a Noise CTF (you'd almost always find them in the PRO list) get into either base, equip magnum/viking and shoot away :) trust me youd improve your k/d in no time.

Your KD is calculated between your death and kill that is recorded on the stats website. In battle be aware that when you self-destruct it remove one kill and add on death on your scoreboard, will on the sta it still keeps your kill and add your death. So your K/D in battle is not the same as your overall K/D on the stat page.
 

To maintain your current kd/ you must have a K/D of 1.23 in every battle you play. But aim for higher to increase it. So stay safe and press "1" when possible, never self.

Guys you're went too far from the real sense and gave unreasonable solutions.. Don't be afraid I will say the word.. "You're noob" so you can't make your K/D higher

Well i dont really know how to help exactly but my word of advice is that you should consistently check your current kd score by pressing tab in the battle. Shaft is a really , really good choice when it comes to kd so using that would be the best way to go i think. Also, try to pick the longer range maps cuz you would do super well in those

In October 2019 (when I was a Major) I started a spreadsheet where every Friday I would log in the current values of my Ratings profile (just the section with experience/kills/deaths/hours) and how much they had changed from the previous week. From October to December 2019, my average K/D for that period was around 0.93. When I started the sheet, my all-time K/D was 0.66 and by December 2019, it had gone up to 0.71.

My K/D just for the year of 2020 was 1.07, and my all-time K/D had gone up to 0.88 at the end of the year.

So far in 2021, my K/D for this year has been around 1.25, and my all-time K/D is now up to 0.92.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you don't need to play like an absolute master to improve your K/D. Just being pretty good can improve it too, because the gap of kills and deaths may stay roughly the same but that gap gets smaller and smaller compared to your total kills.

Looking at your profile and at your rank, I think it will be difficult to improve (or even keep) your K/D  unless you can spare some $. You will be going against OP enemies with maxed out GS and you, without a powerful drone. Yes, you can use a shaft and big hull playing for kills at the back corner. However,  most of the time, your team will lose and you need your teammates to take most of the hits playing battle objective. Keep in mind that some of us are wise to this tactics and will leave early if we see enough teammates doing this. If you plan to keep using this account as f2p, here are a few ideas. Check opposition once you enter a battle. Leave if you see your side is weak. Check for a team playing on the other side. They will be more coordinated. Check protection on other side and switch to something with low protection. Try to maximize your protection with the 3 modules you have.
