Completely changing Trickster drone.  Yeeesh.  Well, no point in continuing to upgrade that.

 

All those players below ... Commander ... that end up playing against Legends (all the time) are getting the crappy end of the stick.  They are unlikely to have drones upgraded even half-way.  So they just lost a big chunk of supply power. and will be at an even greater disadvantage versus those higher ranks.

I ask again - how does TO expect to retain new players when every change seems designed to oppress them?

I actually disagree. The Russian TO Youtubers spend thousands on Ultra Containers and bundles, more than you might think. I think it's actually keeping the sinking ship afloat. At least for now.

Hovering hulls actually still get advantage over the others because they can directly float on top of you.

I have one problem: 
Devs keep having these special celebration offers in the shop, which is fine, but the regular showcase just disappears. Furthermore, the special offers usually stay in the shop LONG AFTER the celebrations have concluded. I get you are trying to milk the heck out of these offers to make as much money as possible from them, but at least do not make it so that the special offer completely REPLACES the regular showcase bundles for such long durations. 
Players have to wait forever to be able to buy them again (and when they do return, we must STILL wait for the bundles to rotate to the one we want). In fact, many players are actually after these bundles rather than the way pricier special offers.
Rotations already take long enough - devs should simply make it so that the regular showcase bundles are ALWAYS present in the shop and the special offers are just an addition. They are called REGULAR showcase bundles for a reason!!

How long you think game will last when it's just buyers vs buyers.  They BUY to get an advantage.  When there's no advantage...

The Trickster drone has been my default drone lately, in particular for the reason that it was one of few options, and in my view the only decent option, left for an active player to compete with inactive players in the efficiency ranking, which has been an issue ever since the misguided "experience boost" of September 2020. I had fun on Tanki for eight years, I have spent up to 2.000 Euros over those entertaining years, but now developers are doing everything imaginable to convince me that it were time to move on.

The big issues with Tanki are that it has come to ever more sacrifice the number of players for revenue per player, that it has come to ever more sacrifice all dimensions of strategy for gambling,  These are big issues. But what has effectively turned this customer off is the vandalization of account statistics per "experience boost" or the refusal to update profile pages.

Believe it or not, many Youtubers buy in-game items for the views. And they get sizeable revenue from that. But you're right - it can't continue forever.

Gotta say, I'm quite excited about these holidays!

• The no-drone and no-OD gold event will be lots of fun, very much like the old days - thanks for that!
• SJR is always fun, and the special missions to earn some ultras don't seem too hard
• And finally, a speedy counterpart to defender and booster! Looking forward to getting some mileage out of trickster now
