Training Map.

Does Tankionline have a training map for people to try out new weapons, hulls etc. without having to go into a real battle?

These Flying Tanks on my team keep running into me (They're either drunk or are just learning to fly)  Thanking you in advance!

Yes! You can do this sort of thing in PRO Battles. What you need to do is:

1. Go to the battle mode selection menu (the button with 4 squares on it)
2. Scroll to "Battle List" and click on it
3. Click "Create"
4. Select the map you want to practice on
5. Click on "Custom Options" and check the "Private" box - this ensures nobody can join the battle and interrupt you while you learn. You can still invite friends to join you if you like.

And that's all! You can play around with different settings if you want, but the only thing that you really need to worry about is setting the battle to private so you can practice or test things in peace.

Everything that @kydapoot said, and previously there was a map which was used for new players in order to train, sadly it has been removed (and it was in the Flash version, so it would be removed a day or another anyways). And we don't know if developers plan to add a "tutorial" for new players on the laptop/pc devices (because regarding mobile there is already a tutorial to help you a bit with this). They should add a "testmap" where you can test out new turrets, hulls, alterations, and drones without purchasing them.

That way, you can get a feel for the equipment before you decide to invest resources into it. Testmaps will not count any kills, exp, or battle funds. They have no battle timer until the server restarts.
