Hi guys

Marshal been the last rank in Tanki from 2009-2012, with the exactly 1,000,000 score. I think this should be the end.  After the 2013 Re-balance, there were a 3 ranks added : Field-Marshal Commander General-Simmo

Its design is better than General-Simmo or the ranks between, and it's now the rank for the Mk7. I remember how the honor of Marshal was, and my first days to play with Marshals when I was WO3 I was looking at them as professionals and honor players.

I think its design have changed a little through the years, I think it was looking better

I'm not talking about the difference in quality, which is higher now, I hate when someone mention this thing in comparison, because Tanki can make a restoration for the old design with a higher quality.

Sorry for the length, my idea is.. I see Marshal should be the highest rank, and Legend become after it immediately. And I see Legend design should be changed to be a bigger shape than it's now and be a hotter version of Marshal.

I know my idea is nowhere to be applied or accepted (from the developers) though I think it will be valid here, but I just want to share my opinion and open a discussion.

Marshal is technically the "last rank" lol.

It's the rank where you unlock all Mk7 and Mk8 equipment. The only reason why you'd want to go to Legend is for the Hyperion Drone. (And I believe it was one of the ranks between Marshal and Legend that unlocked the Saboteur Drone)


Otherwise, Fieldmarshal, Commander, Generalissimo, and Legends 1-Infinity provide free crystals for F2P people when they rank up.

Legend sounds better!

It means we have gained a lot of experience in our account and we became legendary players.

We have a good Garage and a strong Tank.

Plus, we get 40,000 Crystals every rank up after Legend 1.

 

Which one looks and sounds better when we reach the amount of experience:

"Marshal" or "Legend 25"

Legend 25 is better.

 

Another thing is that we can see differences in Experience for each Legend rank because we have a # given with the Legend rank.

So we know who is higher rank and stronger.

And no, the devs never said the game was realistic, but it's far more childish now I would argue.

Guys I'm not being nostalgic in my topic or anything near that.. I just see Marshal is a better representor for the end of the game than Generalissimmo. I think ranks from Field-Marshal till Generalissimmo are just a random addons. Marshal is 1m experience.

Thunderhunter, I haven't suggest to remove Legend, I said Legend should become after Marshal immediately. So Legend is still exist

Gtanks or Mytanks all are sux, they don't ever represent the old tanki. Also even if they copied and pasted the 2012 version 100%. Still the old players and old atmosphere doesn't exist. While they even haven't copied the 2012 version even with 50%.

I believe this is because developers thought it would be cooler, if we had ranks even above the Marshal rank.

Tanki Online gives us the same kind of military experience to obtain ranks which are higher than Marshal rank. Not everything should be the same in the real world and Tanki. It is a game after all, and we should make it more suitable, for its own purpose. Having higher ranks than Marshal means that we are more experienced than this rank. Having Legend ranks is also good because we can differentiate the strength potential between a Legend 2 and a Legend 25.

First I don't know about militiary ranks in Tanki maybe its shapes differ from country to country.. Nor I care if they are real or not. I just say Marshal is perfect for the end.

I think now after we have Legend, the purpose of the appendix 3 ranks after Marshal have vanish.

Then why not have Marshal, Marshal 2, Marshal 3,..., etc.?

Actually in real world ranks, it goes from Marshal to Fieldmarshal straight to Generalissimo (meaning the commander of the whole army).

By the way, when researching this I found an interesting quote by Joseph Stalin: "The Soviet Red Army only has Marshal as its highest rank".

Also, Marshal and the ranks around it give a certain amount of Crystals for ranking up.

Every Legend rank gives 40k Crystals. It is also organized.

This way, we can become Marshal for some time, rank up to a higher rank, become Legend, and keep getting Crystals each rank up.

No, "Legend" sounds cringe-worthy and childish to me, for a game that originally had proper military ranks.
