event BBQ Party

Tankers, we hope you didn’t forget that this weekend we will be having a special  "Solo Juggernaut" mode on the Dusseldorf, Berlin and Kungur maps. 

 

Reminder: the special mode will be available from May 7th 02:00 UTC till May 11th 02:00 UTC.

 

And the main event of this weekend — Party!

 

It will take place in the special mode as well on May 8th from 09:00 UTC till 21:00 UTC.

For the whole 12 hours, you can enjoy tasty barbecues, tons of soda, and of course, a huge birthday cake. It will be loud, fun and crowded!

 

Your task

 

Play in the special Solo Juggernaut mode and destroy the tanks that are wearing the special «Barbecue» paint. It will not be an easy task to kill them all since everyone wants to take a bite out of them!

 

 

Dress-code: Well, there isn’t one, but since it's a party, put on your favourite and brightest paints and skins and charge the shot effects!

 

Facecontrol: Special Party mission will be available from the Staff Sergeant rank and higher. 

 

• Mission: BBQ
• Task: Destroy 1 tank wearing the «BBQ» paint in the special «JGR» mode in the matchmaking battles.
• Prize: 150 shards and 100 stars

 

IMPORTANT: before going to the party, visit the «Missions > Special» section in the HTML5 or Mobile version of the game to activate your mission, or your progress won’t be tracked, and you won’t get your prize.

 

And don’t forget, a little party never killed anybody!

how many players will be there on these maps?

because if it will have 24 or more, then I won't be able even to load into these maps... is it possible to have only 20 or less players on each event maps?

Yeah yeah, I know you like green. Properly even better if it has a bunch of question marks and a big "8" on it.

To be honest, I don't really get how this event is related to BBQ, besides the paint is call BBQ. In fact, the paint doesn't even related to BBQ that much.

Expected. When you are a mod, you have a dictionary of rules and guidelines to follow, which I believe including but not limited to try their best not to talk about anything negative about this game in public.

Yeah, you need to kill a tank to get the last reward of a challange it's totally nothing. If they give us 100K tankoins, uh, maybe but I still feel that it would be too much effort only for the exotic item of a coinbox.

I have two questions, how is this event related to BBQ? And how on Earth does that disgusting paint even resemble BBQ?

 

If you really want to make an event with the theme of BBQ, make a few adjustments to the special mode so that

• Every player enter this mode will automatically have Firebird equipped. The stats of the Firebird is normalized so that every one can have fun.
• Every player will be equipping the Inferno paint automatically
• The Jug and the helpers will be equipping the Steak paint.

Prepare to be barbecued.

Now that, is how a BBQ Party should look like.

You really think it will be that easy when EVERYONE in the match will be going for the BBQ tank? And who knows how often this tank will spawn.

Oh and yes, the devs are blessing us with 100 Tankoins, I don't know what to say - it's like winning the lottery.

It's probably too late now but I will make sure to pass your suggestion! Maybe it will be implanted in the next BBQ event.

You might want to reserve judgement until you you see the specific mission requirements.

Not sure why the word "all" was inserted in the announcement.  Does that mean you won't get 100TK if you don't destroy all the special tanks in that battle?  It's an odd word to insert there.

I don't care. I don't participate in events because 1) it is too time consuming and 2) a lot of them are simply stupid. That simple idea there takes me less than 5 minutes to think of. And the devs some how working this as a full time job and can't figure that out. Come on...

The mission task clearly says that you need to destroy them once. Announcments are not always correct, I even saw hornet xt augment and so on in them.

i tought the next special tasks will reward only stars and shards (usefull at least in something or two) and i fear there will be no more gifts this year but at least the made a change
