I swear every time I watch the Vlog previews the devs have once again come up with some annoying new feature that literally nobody asked for. It's like this for almost every Vlog now.

Another ultra weekend already. That's bizarre. We already had one recently. I like to see the test servers in action. That is a good thing that tomorrow's V-Log 299 will show us.

The Jamming effect could disable a turret's reload. Like jamming a gun. You will still move and turn the turret like normal, but you just can't shoot if you have the single shot turrets such as Twins, Smoky, Striker, Thunder, Vulcan (maybe...idk about this one), Railgun, Magnum, and Gauss.

And if you have Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Hammer, Ricochet, and Shaft, you'll still be able to temporarily shoot but once you run out ammo, you won't reload anymore and that is when you stop shooting.

Idk, it's just my theory.

I do like the turret jamming effect. That reminds me when Slick Clyde jams car engines in Vigilante 8 when firing its lightning bolt antenna.

So this is the Devs latest plan?

  1. Introduce a new status effect, most likely a game breaking one (similar to AP)
  2. Introduce a bunch of augments that related to it, similar to those with AP
  3. Put all those stuff in the loot boxes, most likely ultra containers
  4. Launch an "ultra weekend"
  5. Hopefully a bunch of guys will pay a fortune and pray to the RNGesus
  6. Repeat the cycle

Yes, devs have always good plans to introduce new status effects. Vigilante 8 can be used for that because the special weapons from those characters can prove similar good use for status effects as well as overdrives for hulls and turret damage parameters.

Stop talking about that imaginary Vigilante 8 thing. As you may have not noticed, no one cares.

As for the dev's plan I was talking about, yeah what a "good"  (is that obvious enough for you to understand what I truly mean) plan.

Gauss first needs to have an HD, & XT skins when it gets released. Ultra skin for Gauss should be next. However, my hopes are to have all HD skins released before finishing all the ultra skins.
