Retaliator Drone

Assault Drone

Drone consumes 1 more Boosted Damages than normal.

When you receive direct damage, 5% of the dealt damage will be reflected back to the player who inflicted the damage. Each MU will increase the % reflected back by 0.25% resulting in 10% reflected damage at Max level.

It will not cancel or decrease any other Supplies cool down.

Similarly to Blaster Drone, where it will create a big splash of big damage upon death, the Retaliator Drone will passively reflect damage.

The amount of damage dealt to your tank directly is how much damage that will be reflected back.

For example: (With a Max level Retaliator Drone)

No protections, someone shoots me, and I take 400 damage, I reflect 40 damage.

However, if I have Boosted Armor with full effects. I take 200 damage, I reflect 20 damage.

It can be crucial when you are on the offense and you need the bit of extra damage, and it will make sniper turrets think twice before activating heavy damaging Drones, such as Crisis or Booster.

Status Effect are not affected. Like burning.

Nice idea....but...

Honestly, stuff like this will make me not want to use the drone at all.

I feel like the parameters are slightly too weak to compete with other drones.

Not enough Supplies?

Thorns is a really strong mechanic in a lot of games. Let's start off weak. If this gets added to the game in some sort of way, the Devs can tweak it to their likings.

As in...

I don't have enough supplies to fuel it?
Or the drone doesn't use enough supplies and it should use more than just 2 double damages? XD

This doesn't sound scientifically possible.

You're saying that 5% of the dealt damage a player does to you will be reflected back onto the enemy, but where did that extra damage come from? The enemy is still is dealing their full damage to you, but for some reason, you were able to create energy out of nowhere and reflect it onto the enemy itself.

To make this drone idea make sense, the enemy would need to deal 95% damage in order for you to reflect 5% of their damage back onto them. Because you can't create or destroy energy. If that were the case, this drone would no longer be considered an Assault Drone, nor would it be considered a Defensive Drone.

Ever heard of Thorns mechanics?

You not having Supplies to fuel. Which I would understand. Not everyone has 100K Supplies.

Ohh, in that case, yeah, I don't have infinite supplies to fuel. I believe my 18k double damages would be fully depleted in 2 or 3 months if I used 3 at a time.

Brawl Stars

Nani's Return to Sender reduces the damage she takes.

As for Jackie's Counter Crush, it's a melee ability lol. It doesn't work on snipers that are standing far from her XD

I do know about Thorns, and I'm saying it's not scientifically possible.

So, an enemy shoots you for 400 damage, yeah? you lose 400 hitpoints, but the enemy loses 20 hitpoints because you reflected 5% of that damage. If the 400 damage has already been dealt, where does that 5% of damage come from? If all 100% of that damage hit your tank, how did you create 5% of damage from out of nowhere?

Not to mention, if a Shaft shoots you with 1.5k damage at a 300 meter distance, there's no physical way that you can reflect 75 damage, because I'm guessing this Drone also reflects 5% impact force too, and since impact force comes from projectile speed, projectile power, that reflected damage is not going to make it to 300 meters and hit that enemy shaft with 75 damage.

This is not a game of magic, like League of Legends, Brawl Stars, and Minecraft even.

I don’t understand how Isida is scientifically possible. Wtf is that beam that it shoots?

I don’t understand how my tank is able to play football, or pick up flags. Please explain that. Okay maybe they are magnetic. But how do I throw the ball???

Lets take a look at Titan’s OD. How does it reduce damage without slowing down projectile speeds  from caliber turrets. Where is the damage force of the projectile? Why does the AP effect magically destroy that?

I'm sure you don't know me, or, you've probably never remembered the kinds of things I've said on here, but, things like logic mean a lot to me, and let me tell ya, I disagree with a lot of Tanki's new stuff.

Isida is pretty simple to explain. We all know about nanobots. Little robots that are 1 nanometer big, or maybe a few nanometers. If you have them all collected into one mass, and they had a light source, it would honestly look like some plasma energy.

As for Rugby and CTF? Well, how fun would a game be if there was only 2 gamemodes? Just a game where the goal is to shoot tanks. The gameplay does not fall into the line of logic, so, you can't really mention it.

Also, you're right about Titan's OD, you're correct about AP. Why don't bullets weaken in projectile speed when passing through a wall? Why can Hornet just look at an enemy and make them lose their AP? Well, as much as I hate the new stuff like Drones, Individual Overdrives, the new Augments like EMP and AP, and the status effects specifically,(gameplay wise) there's one thing I hate extra about all of it. It's that there's no logic behind any of it. There's no scientific explanation, there's nothing. It's just, "Oh, that looks like it would make gameplay fun, let's add it." In reality, it doesn't, because most of the new stuff is only accessible to buyers, but, whatever.

Most updates in the game after 2018 are considered stupid ideas, just a nonstop streak of changes to the game that makes it worse, literally makes the game devolve. Have you not seen the recent updates the Devs have created? Last horrible update was the Supply change, second to last was the Critical Damage update, sometime near the beginning of 2021, the devs released shards, that is pretty much one of the only good updates this year, maybe a few minor changes to the game that were okay, but that's pretty much it. Thanks to that update, I can get 15 containers a week, but everything else, complete garbage and makes no sense.

So, you bring up Titan's OD, which was apart of an awful update, just so that you can defend your.. awful idea? You do realize you're doing the same exact thing as what Tanki is doing? Right? The Devs have clearly gone off the deep end, and I don't see this game lasting another 2 years. Have I already mentioned their endless streak of terrible updates? Oh, yeah, I have, great.

Logic aside, what makes you think it would be a good idea to add a new drone anyways? In Tanki's current state. You know that all players who don't have a drone now lose their supply effectiveness? Right? A new drone added to the game is the last thing most players need right now.

You should really consider posting ideas that can solve game balance, maybe even solve nonsense like drones and overdrives. Not fuel the flames of a burning apartment.

I have already posted ideas to help with game balance like fixes to MM, economy (even though they don’t accept that). Some valid, some declined.
Did the Devs fix anything over the years? No. Is there a point for me to write them again? No.
