Also I spent 500k+ crystals (had 600k plus in the beginning) for Mk7 Hammer with Duplet and Wolf module. Now I have at least one turret for each category.

wondering why there is no contest events this year/ such as colouring or birthday card / build a tank ?

not liking the sales seeing years ago we got more then 1 day for sales. Bring back the old tanki sales events

Thank you so much for this epic 12 birthday celebration that Tanki Online has right now. Here are all my completed missions and ultra containers:

I am lucky to have the rubberized rounds which bounces off walls, using my Vulcan turret.

I wanted this augment since it was released, and there were no way for me to get it. I now got it for free from the last of the 15 ultra containers which I have opened today. Many thanks for those dazzlingly cool rewards.

The good stuff mostly comes from containers. My mountain of gifts will come soon if I manage to complete the mountain of gifts by finishing all the small missions which pops up everyday.

I use Android Emulator for watching ads for extra container shards, nothing else.

So for me (I mainly play on PC), when I login to the game in the morning on my timezone, usually 8-11 am EST (assume that I accumulated enough shards from the previous day), I get 1 container. 

Me complete all 3 daily missions -> 1.5 additional containers. With watching 5 ads in span of approx 5 hours in total using Android Emulator, I get another 0.5 container. Using this method nets me 3 containers in a day (that is if I do everything). 

But if I do play on an actual Android device (but I use iOS the most), I can get even more than 3 per day just from grinding daily missions because of "finishing battle to watch another ad for additional 10 shards" without waiting 1 hour cooldown.

I heard Maf said his in-game friend farmed a whopping 1,000 containers just in period of 3 months (prolly b/c of taking advantage of being an Android user).

So the special missions, and the gold events with set equipment and so on - and the free gifts - are really cool.

But sadly this is all spoiled a lot by the new 4000 stars requirement for the challenge for both silver and gold tiers (now making it very hard to complete for players who can't play 24/7) and the greatly increased price of the battle pass. Yet more changes that make the game harder for casual players, and widen the gap between free players/light buyers and heavy buyers. These birthday events are nice for now, but they only dull the pain of the direction the game is now taking for a short time.

Managed to somehow get two exotics which were stun missisles and paralizing shots for smoky from the free ultras
