In Html5, I had enough of being always team blue, so why not re add red team in MM as in Pro Battles, so we can be in red team sometimes?

The developers said you will always see yourself in the blue team because it will be less confusing for new players, blue team = your team, red team = enemy team. And besides, that falls under removal of updates.

It's not even just new players, actually.

When Hornet's radar overdrive was added and you could see enemy health bars for the first time, there was no indicator to differentiate teammates from enemies. And when you play multiple battles where you switch between being on red and blue teams, it becomes easy to forget which team you're currently playing on. I clearly remember having multiple instances when I lost fights because I ignored an enemy player because I saw their health bar and therefore thought they were a teammate, and then they shot me.

Making the enemy team always be red fixes this issue. The only problem is that it's now difficult to reference a specific team when talking about a map, and comments like "I think Yorkshire red team base is too exposed" no longer work.

Based on the title of this topic, we should have an option in the settings that allows us to set our team color for our persepctive.

 

The default makes us be on the blue team and enemies are the red team.

Changing the setting allows us to see ourselves on the red team and enemies are on the blue team.

Maybe in the future, more colors can be added so players can customize their own, personal gameplay experience.

There's nothing confusing, if you see yourself red, your teammate are red, nothing special to understand bruh

Why are the teammates on Mobile GREEN? LOL
