That's assuming you already pay the 1500 Tankoins and have all the Skins.

Since the Daily Missions update, I have completed every Challenge except for one. There are still NINE skins that I haven't received but are available in Skin Containers. If I continued buying the battle pass (NOT gonna happen for this Challenge or any other one that costs 1500 Tankoins), I'd be getting only 500 Tankoins from the Challenge for 4 and a half months. I'd have to wait that long to get 1000, and I STILL wouldn't be making a profit.

I can't imagine this come out from an adult's month. This is just a whole new level of lame.

If a player has all the skins, do you think he will even care or need the battle pass any more? He properly has already got everything he need by then.

And if a player does NOT have all the skins, then it is a more than a 100% increase of the selling price. Now, tell me, in terms of business, since you like talking about business, do you think it is a good idea? I mean, if you really want to increase the price, at least do it in a more subtle, less obvious way. Instead, you decided to announce it everywhere. LIke literally you want every one to know about it. Whose idea is that?

 

It is as if you are inviting players to complain. And your "explanation" made it even worse.

I am not interested in getting all the skins. It is likely that this change will save me a lot of time to continue the challenge in the future.

How many F2P can complete this updated challenge against all the OP gear in the game, that's taken into account if they have the required tankoins in the first place.

TO is a mess. The developers have ensured that non, are even infrequent buyers have little to no chance of ever competing in a game, which is primarily aimed at P2W in every update they bring out. 

Trying to justify the changes in the challenge with "and 500 tankoins" is a weak reply. That kind of response is used all to often by you and the mods when trying to sugar coat the abysmal updates the developers have and continue to bring out.

The game needs a good economy, I think every player agrees on that, but what has happened to the balance and sense of fair play. Why is it always discarded in favour of P2W only, which only benefits a small % of the player base. 

Because they are boring and yield no rewards at all.

PRO battles should be for those that just want to get a bit of game time in, are maybe hone their skills on a particular piece of equipment. They are not a substitute for actual battles, were winning and the disappointment of losing are a stimulus that (should) spur players on to do their best, for themselves and the team as a whole. PRO battles do not have the same effect on players as MM battles, if they did then I have no doubt that MM would die very quickly, as all the F2P players would be having FUN in pro battles.

The FUN has disappeared from the game and will imo never return.   

The biggest komedi of it all is that i personally have all the skins and i'm the one complaining about this. The 3x price increase just simply does not justify the price. In fact when we look at it realisticly...they have increased the price by 6x since December 2018...first by making challenges biweeklies and now this.

 

I though that since they made price 1500TK, that they would revert to challenges be a monthly thing again, so we can finally be excited about them again. Instead they went in the complete opposite direction. I remember in December 2019 and January 2020 ( especially these 2 months ) where i was excited to see what new skins and paints were gonna be brought in Challenges and i remember how challenges once made some people wanna play the game...now challenges will actively try make people quit because, no new cosmetics except a regular paint in tier 5, no new skin at all in skin cont for past 16 MONTHS, and absolutely broken augments being brought to challenges like EMP Salvo now which will just ruin the balance.

The fact you have to bring up the fact "in case you have all the skins" is quite sad...not only because most people don't have all skins but now it is encouraged for Alternativa not to bring any new skin in skin containers because players will just have to pay more for the BP.

 

The reason people want monthly back ( including me ) is because monthly challenges were cosmetic focused. Every month we would get a new skin and average of 3 animated paints for 500TK. Now we get  2 new regular paint and no new skin per month for 2x the price, or 4x the price now for most people

 

Also the fact that on TO Mobile it still says u can get gold boxes in the section where you can buy Battle Pass bundle is quite insulting. We have had no golds, premium or color shots in challenges for VERY long time now. Color shots especially have an issue with this since we STILL don't have color shots for turrets like Smoky, Thunder while there is only one color shot for Vulcan or Gauss when there can be like 5 - 8 easily.

 

The biggest issue is people might wanna pay 1500TK, but only if the thing they are paying that amount of TK is ACTUALLY worth it. And well...for most people paying for biweekly challenges was a stretch. This now is just nail in the coffin which might made people not be interested in challenges at all.

Well I believe I just did. I said in my post earlier that I wasn't pleased about the increase in star requirements and prices. I generally don't go out of my way as non-helpers do and throw insults or such because that's not going to do anything. Also, a lot of times people react very negatively to things which aren't even remotely bad. For example, a couple months ago when hot sales were announced the topic was filled with negative criticism, even though nobody was affected negatively. Similarly, lots of non-buyers were unhappy with the space event a few weeks ago. The reason being that they couldn't get Crysis for free. Why would Tanki give away Crysis, a drone exclusive to the rarest tier of utlra containers, for free to people? I mean yes they said that the most persistent tankers will get it, but it should have been clear from the start that non-buyers will most likely not obtain it. I wasn't fond of the event either frankly, because I felt like they could have done a lot more to make it more interesting and immersive.

Exactly what would I accomplish by saying that "this is a disgraceful update"? You've been saying these things for months now cosmic and I don't believe you've had any effect of what happens in the game. As for your post, I don't think there was a need to remove the upgrade option (in fact, I don't think there's any use in upgrading unless you're at mk7 or have lots of crystals but that's a separate matter). I think it's also obvious that the reason they increased the price for the battle pass is to get players to buy. I've also said this before, but obviously Tanki will introduce updates with content which players have to pay for. Tanki is free to play (as in unlike say GTA 5 you don't have to pay an upfront cost to even have a game account), so obviously it will have these kinds of in-game transactions.

Okay, but how does being "honest with myself" change the updates in Tanki? 

There's no benefit in throwing insults around or saying the same thing for months on end. If anything, people generally will pay you less attention because of the way you're saying things. At some point, if you don't enjoy the game move on. I see a lot of people on the forum who are quite dissatisfied with Tanki, will talk about how the game is unplayable and still continue to play the game or check the forum or some combination of these two. I'm not saying you be 100% happy with each update. I know I'm not. But if you're unhappy with most/every update then that's a good sign that you should find some other game to play rather than spend your time on the forum talking about how angry you are.

Someone who can be considered helper like you has just said to players that if you don't like the updates then you should either deal with it or quit the game.

That's not what I'm saying. I can understand if you don't like every update. I'm not really happy with this one either. What I'm saying is that posting the same things over and over isn't going to change it. By playing the game, you're choosing to spend your time here. My point is, if you're not enjoying yourself in the game then don't play. I'm not saying blindly just be happy with every update. But, if on the whole you don't enjoy playing then don't. For me, there are things I don't like, such as EMP salvo or this change to the battle pass. But, being a helper I've made friends who I enjoy playing with, and so I stay. In an analogy, say you go to McDonalds every day. You buy yourself a burger for lunch, eat it and talk about how you didn't like it at all and how McDonalds is a horrible place to get food from. Then you keep going back to Mcdonalds every day and repeating the cycle. Why not go to a different place to eat instead?

For me im not frustrated because of the update itself...mostly because im the one least affected by this...im more frustrated because this was a waste of potential. The hype up in the vlog which they did could be considered deceiving at best and a scam at worst.

 

They could have finally made challenges great again and make it monthly with them returning stuff like gold boxes, color shots...like they did with premium. Instead we got 10 more conts, 1d of premium ( which is nice but it cant carry the downsides ) and augments being given which were only in UC. This really cant justify 2x or 3x bigger price.

 

Perfect example of a great challenge would be challenges like in December 2019 or in January 2020...For me and a lot more people, it was kinda exciting waiting to see what new paints and a skin would Alternativa add to the battle pass. Now it all feels dry.

 

Also on the final note. While you are right with the whole McDonalds comparisin, if everyone stopped going to McDonalds, the business would shut down.

We obviously can quit playing the game. But it is due poor and mediocre updates, which the unique objective is increasing the gap between F2P and P2W players.

You can NOT understeand the most simply thing; If the major part of the players are MAD, is because someone is NOT doing fine their work.

You can NOT see that?! They are ruining the game !! NOT ONLY the costs of those stuff, but also "mechanics" like:

• Ricochet + Hopper = FLYING HALF OF MAP WITH BOOSTED SPEED
• Crisis can switch between all druggs in less that 0.5 seconds !! "yeah, (boosted damage) then, I shoot you. instantly (booster armor) and you won't never kill me"
• Critical Damage is meant to balance Railgun. /// Railgun is the only weapon that its critical damage is over 100%

They DO NOT want to balance REAL necessary things, they are making this game more P2W than ever, they are making things more difficult than ever for new players... Dude, they are killing the game. Open your eyes. Don't be blind. Is harmful for us seeing how a game that was super good in 2010-2012, a game that was part of our childhood, is ending like simply one more unfair P2W game like almost all modern mobile games...

If you want us to don`t be angry at the moderators because of the updates, just make a good funny game, without 500+ euro bundles every day and then promote it ( i know you need donations to had 500+ euro vacantions on Hawaii and McDonals islands because i don`t know how much 0.1% from the profit you invested to the game, but because i love your work i am free to pay only 10 euro per month for the bundels because with the rest of the money i bought food, Snikers and Anime Girls and if you make a good game, more people will buy 10 euro bundles and you will make more profit and everyone will be happy xD)

And a small tip: Just don`t try to make this game for children`s, they will prefer to play Fortnite and cancer like that, you can`t manipulated them.

 

Oh and i forgot. I can`t play a different game because the other games like cs:go, had a toxic comunity and i am bad at that game but at tanki online i am like Global Elite Face It level 10

If you take like that, we won`t go at the other restaurants because i am allergic at something that McDonalds doesn`t had it and it is inevitable to go at the same place
For example i don`t like to play cs:go because it has a toxic comunity and it is hard to be pro at it, but at Tanki, if i played this game for 8 years i am very good at it and i can play at eSports

@LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATHI'm able to have feelings. Don't act as if that was a disadvantage. Being angry is part of being human. That's why we are different from AI. We can feel satisfaction, dissatisfaction, and a bunch of other feelings. When they do something I'm happy about, I'm dissatisfied, angry, not pleased at all. That's how life works.

So, we still get 100 Tankoins from the Free Tier.

For the Gold Tier, we can get 400, but only if we buy it.

If we have all the Skins, then we can get 1000 Tankoins back from each Challenge and from buying the BP.

 

But if we don't have/do any of the above, then we only get 100 Tankoins like before. 

Now we'll need to save Tankoins and only use them for specific Challenges that we can get our favorite equipment in.

So a F2P will have enough tankoins by the end of the first half of the January 2022 challenge.

Yip got that. So you have to GRIND 267 stars a day for 7 months and 15 days, just to get the gold tier on a challenge that has rewards you want.

What if you see a challenge that looks great but it's only October?

Over 7 months getting ripped to pieces for a challenge,  like that's going to happen.
