Special Missions for returning players.

The idea is that when a returning player logins in after a long time, the player gets a special mission only available to that player.

It can be like

 

SuperMission: Complete all the special missions

Reward: 5 Containers

 

Mission 1: Play 1 battle

Reward: 5000 crystals

 

Mission 2: Play 2 battles

Reward: 125 Boosted Damage

 

Mission 3: Play 3 battles

Reward: 125 Boosted Armor.

 

Rewards and number of missions can be different but this is the basic idea.

This will give that player reason to play more than 1 battle. And there are comparatively higher chances that the player might start playing again.

I'm not sure if returning players are getting any login reward at the moment (like we use to get long time ago). One of my friend just started playing after three years and he said that he didn't receive any login rewards. That's why I thought something like this will be good

We do not accept ideas regarding increase of battle funds or any rewards/bonuses.

The developers want players to play everyday. This is why the idea is declined, because it would cause us to play less, from time to time.

 

Also, like Spy said, Developers don't want to give too many free rewards, or rewards that we can obtain very easily. It's because we already have a lot of ways of getting rewards from Missions and by battling.

We can start getting Crystals and Supplies as soon as we start playing again.

So if a player has logged in after a long time, they can just see what new Daily/Weekly/Challenge and also Special (if any) Missions they have, do them, and start collecting a lot of rewards.

How about 100 Tankoins if you log in again after a whole year?

Also no one would abandon their account for a very long period of time just to get a few rewards - if the devs want people to play as much as possible they would have stuff like this to get people who have left to return and start playing again. Other games have similar features.

Literally, that is the weakest reward I have ever seen. Especially for someone who's gone for.. let's say 1-3 months. I could get a far better reward for playing every day in one month than 5 containers, 5k crystals, and some supplies. People have better reasons not to be playing this game.

The only reason this idea is flawed is because for those who leave the game, most usually don't end up returning back to the game, so, this idea would be kind of pointless.

I've seen that many people do return but they don't play more battles. In friend list it now shows when the person last logged in. So I've seen that most of my friends who use to play years ago indeed came online in past few months, but none of them played much (their rank were same as before).

Also if tanki promotes the game, there is a good chance that a player who use to play this game before, might see it, and thinks of giving it a try. For example just few months ago a popular Russian youtuber made a video on tanki online, which got like 700k views in a day.

But how can this even happen in current tanki?

We get 1 container per day just for logging in. Reward for returning player will be small like 5-20 containers.

A person won't leave 180 containers that he can get in 6 months, just to get 5-20 containers of returning player reward.

That means this idea doesn't cause us to play less, from time to time.
