Rewards refunded on a national level?

 Share

Question

For some reason if the government of a major country like the United states or Russia, shut off the internet. Would tanki refund players the daily rewards or anything like that?

Tanki Online, as a Company, is not obliged to refund or return anything in this case. They can if they want to, but it isn't a problem if they don't. It's up to them.

Why would they give refunds?

I’m sure it’s in the Tanki Online T&Cs somewhere.

By the way, if the devs shut down the game tomorrow there would be NO refunds either. Just think that through.

From the End User License Agreement:

Quote

19.4. ... e) ... Any applicable fees and other charges on the User’s Account for Digital Content provided by the Company are NOT REFUNDABLE, except as set forth in the terms of these EULAs, or as it is required under the applicable law. The User further acknowledges that purchased Digital Content, including but not limited to Tankoins, are for use in the Game and that Tankoins or other Digital Content are not redeemable for money or monetary value from the Company or any other person or entity.  Neither Digital Content nor Tankoins have an equivalent value in real currency and do not act as a substitute for real currency. Neither the Company nor any other person or entity has any obligation to exchange Digital Content or Tankoins for anything of value including, but not limited to, real currency.

and

Quote

20.2. The Company shall not be liable for the reception and/or processing of the User’s payment(s), including for any delays which may occur or any failure of reception. All payments made by the User are voluntary, definitive, and non-refundable unless otherwise provided herein, or as it is required under the applicable law.

So basically, unless there's a law that requires the company to refund purchases in such a situation, users would not be compensated.

Sry but i said refund in the wrong way. I mean for example the daily rewards that they are giving out in tanki. Say the internet was shut down so u couldnt collect them. Would tanki still make the reward accesable to u even tho the day has passed. Because of a national emergency or something like that.

In the past, when Tanki has had technical issues they've given out a special mission titled "A token of apology" containing a day of premium or similar small gift to make up for the lost rewards. It's possible they'd do something like that if a large number of players lost access for a period of time.
