Tesla in action.

The breeze paint looks great with Tesla. Firing Tesla's plasma balls pressing the spacebar has a white cool effect. I guess that the developers have finished completing the visuals for Tesla's shooting mechanics.

Tesla should be release soon to the main game servers. Tesla is only available for now, on test servers. Yesterday, Tesla was available on test server two and now it is available on test server three. Please note that sometimes test servers change for turrets that are still in the works on test servers. Luckily for me, I got the chance to take Tesla for a spin on the test servers.

Tesla turret is a disappointment, I was expecting something different. it takes too much work to use it.

The Tesla turret is on the test servers for your to try. Test it out on either test server two or three. The new interface is coming soon. Very soon. There are no dates yet, but it will come. In the meantime, try to guess what the new supply is for daily missions. I think it will be Tankions. As for the usability of the Tesla turret, this turret is very easy to use. Holding the spacebar continuously fires the turret. Pressing the spacebar for a short while allows the Tesla turret to fire its electromagnetic plasma balls. Simply take a practice run on the test servers.

There are no disappointments with the Tesla turret. Its a great advantage and new milestone for Tanki Online. Tesla is very different from all the other turrets and it very original.

The new turret called Tesla is very promising. I like it firing dynamics. Here are some more pictures of this good looking turret:

Tesla is like the new Isida in terms of cosmetic looks. Tesla deals good damage and the sound effects are dazzling.

To the people who keep saying Tesla is useless because it's so hard and confusing to use:

Just press and hold the spacebar to use the normal attack. It works like any other short-ranged turret and you really don't need the ball lightning to be effective in battles with a Tesla.

Ok but what after i have shooted the balls and i want to attack with the balls?

You should only use the balls to increase your range. Otherwise, the default attack does enough damage that it can easily compete against other short-ranged turrets.

Yes, sometimes an enemy will be "dumb" and they will drive into the ball and you get a free 1500 damage :)

 

But since the ball travels so slow, you should just fire the ball whenever you want to get a range advantage against people using Firebird, Freeze, Isida, or Hammer, or if you wanna siege the enemy flag/Siege Point/Defending team on ASL with endless balls, hoping it will clear the enemies out of their own base :)

Perhaps in the future, the developers can release an alteration that focuses Tesla's power into the lightning ball @beachhouse

Maybe something like this:

 

Big Ball of Doom

Special setting for the Tesla turret. Converts all electrical energy to a special reactor that generates massive balls of lightning that do huge damage per hit and can travel much faster than normal. Such a setting disables the turret’s default zapping attacks.

+ Ball Lightning damage increased by 33%

+ Ball Lightning projectile speed increased to 15 m/s

+ Enemy Teslas cannot utilize (chain shots off) the ball of lightning

- Inability to fire normal shots

- Allied Teslas cannot utilize (chain shots off) the ball of lightning

I was driving through my own plasma balls carefree and enemy killed me with my own balls.... how can my balls betray me like that :( :p

If your teammates or enemies use Tesla, they can also shoot at your own balls to their own advantage.

Basically, the balls of lightning Tesla shoots are the first projectile that Tanki has ever had that is "neutral". No matter who fired the lightning ball, any other Tesla whether it be ally or enemy can use it to their own advantage and shoot the ball to chain shots off and increase their range.

I already know how to use Tesla so there are no worries about using this turret. Tesla only takes around 15 minutes to learn how to properly use this turret.

Yes, it reminds me of the game on ps1 vigimante 8 with clyde's adventures.

Tesla reminds me a lot of the carnivorous planets in the movie, Day of the Triffids.

Tesla can be considered as a cannibal turret, similar to Isida's vampirism.

@Spy Will Tesla  be ultra container exclusive turret or it will be only in ultra container for early access and then release for everyone just like hopper and crusader?

Tesla will be available in the garage after Tanki's 12th birthday.

The new interface will look and work good on mobile.
