Recruit to Legend - a long walk

Hello how are you? 
Today in this thread, I'm going to show you my entire walk from my account (Phantom_Shooter) from Recruit to Legend.

I've been playing this game for a long time now (I met it in 2014 but started playing it seriously in 2015). I've had several accounts before this one, but this is the first time I get to Legend. I lived incredible and memorable moments in this game. I met friends that I carry on my chest to this day. This game is very special to me, it has a reserved place in my heart.

Here below I will leave all the screenshots of my Ranks UPS, from Recruit to Legend. In these screenshots we can see how the game has changed drastically (RIP Flash Player ).

And also below there will be screenshots of great battles I played (I miss this type of battle, but I think nowadays I wouldn't have so much time to play like that lol)

I have some fresh memories about that day. Before creating this account, I played Tanki on the Brazilian server (which nowadays is linked to the English). As there weren't many players there, I decided to create an account here on the English server. By the time of the print, I remember that soon I needed to go to school, and I was still playing. Maybe i was an addict

Important detail: I was about to give up on this account, because at the time I was already on a patent, in a way already a little advanced, so I was facing several M1 (old M1 M2 and M3) and as I was M0 I was at a disadvantage. At the time I even bought M1 Flamethrower, but it didn't do much good, as several people had protection against it.

Since I didn't have enough crystals to buy this kit, one last hope came. I had been given a container, I don't remember where (maybe from some daily mission) and I asked my mother to open it, just to see what would come. And then something came that just saved my account: 25,000 crystals. With these crystals, I managed to buy this M1 kit there, and still managed to buy another kit, which you will see later on.

Unfortunately I don't have a print of this container opening, and neither of me buying the kit. I remember clearly having this screenshot, but I think I missed it.

I remember at that time I wanted something new to try out, specifically a new turret. I thought a lot about getting twins, because in the previous years (2015/2016/2017) I played a lot of twins, and I did really well with him, so I thought a lot about getting him. But I was bold and picked up a brand new turret that I had never played before: ricochet is its name.
And nowadays, this turret is one of my favorites :)

In this print you can't really see it, but then I had already bought my first M2 kit, the Malabarist, which came from Ricochete e Caçador and Digital paint.

In this patent (and the previous one, Captain) I had a lot of crystals left. I don't remember if I won a lot of crystals in containers, or if I played a lot, maybe it's the first option.
As I had too many crystals left, I decided to buy 2 M2 kits, Atlas and Jelly. Nowadays I see that this was a mistake, as I should have bought an M2 kit only, but anyway.

When I leveled up to this patent, it just took me 7 MONTHS to level up again. Is a long time. That was the longest time I stayed in a patent. But it was worth it later.7

This Rank UP was very special, because several people recorded it (about 3 youtubers recorded my rank UP) and after that they released a lot of golds, and it was really cool

Well, like I said up there, I was recording right? Yes, I was recording gold box clips to make a video for my channel. Even this video is out and is already available on youtube. There in this video there's my UP rank for legend too :)

 

Well that's. Thank you so much for reading this far, and sorry for any mistakes, I'm using a translator and I'm not fluent in English. I am very grateful to Tanki Online for the good times that this game gave me. For the golds I got, for the crystals I got, for the good things I got in containers, and so on. Even though the game has had a lot of bad updates lately, the game is still good, and I still love it.

In my opinion, becoming Legend doesn't mean your journey is over. 

The journey is over when you have a Perfect Tank (9999 GS), a Perfect Garage, you have participated in Contest or two, done special Events and Challenges, joined the Tanki community, maybe become a Helper to get a more closer experience with players, been in a clan and done clan activities, and have gotten the new items with other players. The fun continues with more updates in the game. So you should have fun with one account because another account gives you more work.

I agree. I don't intend to give up the game entirely, but I think I will play it less often. And I think it's a little tricky to have a GS 9999 because I'm not a buyer.

Yes do that, I made the mistake of having a full M4 garage as my goal for the game. Hundreds of wasted hours and £ later, I really don't feel like it was worth it.

This game isn't worth it, but if you're going to do anything in it, then make friends and have fun with them. Goals just make it a grind.

Well, I also had some goals in this game, which was to have some M4 (I still intend to have the entire M4 garage, but I don't think I'll make it)

Nowadays I still play, but only in good events, like this Ultra Weekend this weekend.

Aside from the good events, I only log into the game to retrieve the containers for free.

Not much of an achievement TBH.

 

I'd be more impressed with how low of a rank you can be to get a 9699 GS combo without spending $$ while playing regularly.
