Life-Guard drone changes

Recommended Posts

Instead of just heal all hp (3k at max level)  while take  more damage than your hp,  instead of heal all the hp, he  use repair automatic(that heal 1000 instantly and 3000 long of time),

Because this drone already saves the tanki from the certain death because of (invunerability of 0,001 second) and also heal all the hp? i think its a little broken, like 2 hp bars to remove ( but in 2 stages because since u deal 12000 damage u cant kill yet, need shot again)

Life-Guard and Saboteur and Blaster are really annoying drones, I hate them?

But everytime I want to complain/suggesting to nerf them, I feel shy because I remember I'm a Booster player which is more OP☺️

I would rework Lifeguard that instead of healing your tank when HP goes zero, it heals when your tank is severely damaged (each MU increases the trigger threshold).

An 1/20 Lifeguard will heal when you @ 1% HP left. An 20/20 triggers the healing @ 20% HP.

And yeah.... consuming only 1 additional repair kit for that.

I mean, the players have used their hard-earned Crystals to upgrade their Lifeguard Drone.

With a Medium Hull equipped, they basically get a 2nd life after getting destroyed. And they earned it by upgrading their Lifeguard.

It feels pretty balanced, it is different from Repair Kits that heal over time.

Even though the Drone heals instantly 3000 HP at max, we can still manage to defeat the opponent with this Drone. It's not too over-powered because we have supplies and our Drone as well.

Yeah it’s good to have OP equipment that can be bought and upgraded with crystals. All of the early access or ultra container-exclusive equipment needs to be balanced with standard, universally available equipment that is effective when combined with skill/practice.

I think this drone is okay as it is I dont really have an issue going against this drone. You know why? There are times when you have so many campers in maps with shaft with HC, Gauss, and magnum that can easily one shot light to medium hull classes. I also find this drone balanced because it can give the tank to fight back against booster users. (And yes I am a booster user as well) but i still find it fair that lifeguard keeps its same effects to give a fighting chance. Lastly lifeguard doesnt do well against melee turret users because melee turrets with high dps like isida, fire, freeze, and vulcan will just hinder the effects of the lifeguard user. In most cases even when lifeguard is in effect against a melee turret, it would only survive about 4 more seconds anyways since melee turrets would still have an upper hand. This drone is mostly effective against med to long range turrets. This is why I believe that lifeguard doesn't need a change.

But using lifeguard prevents you from using any other drones. Drones are meant to give you additional powerful abilities, so is Lifeguard really that broken compared to other drones? What about Defender, or Mechanic? I agree that it's annoying to fight a tank with essentially 2x hp, but as far as drones go it's not that broken. I would say it is one of the more powerful drones though.

Why are these even reasons supporting this drone?

Hey, I'm simply using devs' logic. I remember Hazel one time explicitly stating that the reason some turret augment is balanced is because it prevents you from using other augments for that turret ?‍♂️

I really don't know how to respond to that other than hazels  becoming increasingly lazy with his reasoning.

The reason why players level up Drones is because they like what the Drone does.

This is why they save up and spend so many Crystals on their Drone(s).

They don't want the Drone to become weaker now because they had worked hard to upgrade it.

AP Gauss Augment had a disadvantage of not being able to apply AP on splash-damage.. Literally was: "?AP doesn't work for splash damage".

It was just a weird, as if the stock Gauss was a capable of doing AP in splash-damage..! LOL

But the more laughably thing, when they made AP Gauss can do AP for splash-damage, they haven't counted it as an advantage?

Completed

With the conversion of Lifeguard into a hull augment, the health bonus was reduced to 1000, with one activation per respawn.
