I have completed this ultra weekend successfully as always. Below, in the spoiler you shall see my rewards.

I found jammer immu is useful at some tactic situation,

  * like in SGE, those spamming titan dome, you can jammer all all other titans for the last 10s standing dome, make sure no one will disturb our SGE dome,

     but enemy have jammer immu will still able to jammer back all our team and cancel our team dome.

  * like when enemy attacking, some enemy hunter will OD first to jam our defense team, but with jammer immu, you can counter by jammer them back

  * hunter jammer can stop a coming enemy viking with OD coming to your JGR, as mostly like those viking w OD ready will activate only reach our JGR. with jammer immu, you basically play as a role to jam enemy OD all the time once ready.

  * for hunter,  you can avoid stun if you stand far away and behind wall, but jammer you can't avoid even hiding, delay your attack for 10s, for those like to OD after grab flag.

In some coner cases, perhaps, but in majority of the situations, it is worthless or outweighed. Or we will at least see a few people using it.

You couldn't wait for tomorrow ? When July Challenge II ends. To claim the stars ?

I play only for missions, so I "collect" the special missions tomorrow. Only 162/220 damage and 197/210 armors and I'm done.

Stars are back to 3k so no need to worry about collecting special missions or not no more.

Jammer Immunity is the most useless augment you can find in this game apart from lightweight and heavyweight augments. Well, at least it is legendary tier right?

Heavyweight augment isn't useless. I have it on my main for Viking, default Viking is a joke compared to a Viking with this augment.

Lets say that two Vikings one just default and the other with heavyweight try to attack the enemy base head on.

Default Viking dies quickly because it is getting thrown around like a rag doll against heavy fire and is unable to get back into cover in time.

Heavyweight viking takes longer to die because no matter how much it is getting attacked, it ain't budging hardly at all. Which allows it to take down a few enemies, and getting behind cover in time to use repair.

 

Not lets say both Vikings are using Thunder to go 1v1 against a smoky, ricochet, or twins.

Default Viking has a hard time hitting the enemy because its again getting its aim knocked off, resulting in an easy kill for the enemy.

Heavyweight Viking won't budge, which means it can even aim at the enemies corners to try to knock off their aim. The Viking might have a chance of winning this encounter.

 

Now lets say both Vikings are using their OD against a group of enemies or a juggernaut.

Default viking gets hit and most likely get swung, making it lose precious seconds to maximize the effect of its OD.

Heavyweight Viking gets hit, and nothing happens except it received damage. So it is able to maximize the effect of its OD.

Jammer is practically garbage and it pollutes the prize pool. Very useless against experienced players.

Yet, isn't the rest of the immunity augments better in general? Like you would rather being APed, EMPed, Stunned than getting knock off your aim? I find it hard to believe.

I would not say it is useless, Jammer is a very popular thing nowadays, I am sure an average titan player would be happy for this. However, I play viking only, so nothing for me. And heavyweight are useful as well. And yes, it is in the legendary tier.

Actually I would. Sure an immunity would be nice, but it can only protect me against one status effect. What if I wanted protection against 2 or 3 status effects?

Besides I leave MM battles that are full of legend ranked players because I know they have all kinds of broken equipment.

I am way more annoyed at getting my aimed knocked off than getting EMPed, stunned, or APed. And its not just enemy bullets, but even a light brush from a teammate sends a default Viking swinging at 90 degrees.

Besides most turrets have Impact force. Heavyweight augment makes those turrets lose that advantage.

No I don't. Every battle I've been in during these events are extremely unbalanced. Besides they devalue actual holidays that this game celebrates.

This makes the discussion a whole lot different. I assume you choose battles that have drugs and drones disabled. I tends to see way less OP augments there even though augments are enabled. That make sense for you to choose something else.

Yet, if it is in MM, which is supposed to be the main mode, you are going to see at least one AP/EMP/Stun augment in each battle, I bet you will choose something lese.

If its just one of the players having one of those augments, I will still use heavyweight augment. But if alot of players have those status effects augments, then I just leave and find another battle.
