Suggestion: Vulcan Rubberized rounds - Increased damage per bounce

I feel like this mechanic should be a separate augment/alteration for Ricochet instead. It makes more sense considering that turret's main focus was supposed to be bouncing projectiles.

 

And Rubberized Rounds for Vulcan is used to grant Vulcan, a turret whose projectiles barely bounce at all, the ability for its bullets to reliably bounce.

It doesn't need any other buffs to be honest. The augment already did its main job - turn Vulcan into a pseudo-Ricochet so you don't need to buy Ricochet if Vulcan fits your playstyle more.

I completely agree with @Tanker-Arthur. Ricochet is the turret designed to be able to bounce its bullets. It is already kinda unfair for it, that an infinitive ranged tzrret can reproduce this ability. RR doesn't need any buffs, it's akready a huge advantage from stock.

It can be a nice way to attack from around a corner. But it would make Vulcan more annoying.

Since the rubberized rounds already bounce the shots, the augment is already pretty good.

But 10% extra damage is not too much, and the players won't be able to bounce 5 times. So I think we can try it in battle.

Actually....not really.


Super Smart Minus Fields grants a status effect with a "static" effect after a bounce......no matter how many times the projectile bounces, it will simply only apply an Armor Piercing Effect that always does the same effect each time - allow damage to bypass armor and modules.

 

If something similar to @PEW_PEW_YO_MOMMA's idea was applied to an Augment for Ricochet, the damage of the projectile would keep increasing the more times it would bounce.

So Ricochet would do a little higher damage than it normally would after the projectile bounces 1 or a few times, and it would do insane amounts of damage if the projectile had a chance to bounce many, many times before hitting an enemy, because each bounce would further increase the damage than it was previously.
