It is nice though that Viking overdrive with various turrets and augments is being fixed, melee turrets were the last things that were substandard with Viking overdrive. All the same though, these changes will leave Firebird and Freeze in a weird place, and in many ways imbalanced. But if they nerf them, they will be left with an annoyingly short range.

Also magnum got nerfed. Guess it might've been slightly OP in the legend ranks. Hopefully it'll calm down the horde of angry legends. ?

OP is not the right word to describe Magnum. It is annoying and it doesn't fit this game at all. It shouldn't exist in the first place. All the maps of this game has never changed since the release of Magnum. And they are designed in the assumption that turrets shoot in a 2D plane. That's why all those walls and buildings and bridges are there to provide covers for players.

Yet, Magnum is designed to camp. It can ignore all those things I mentioned. I don't know what the Devs have smoked to think that is a good idea to bring a turret designed for camping into a PVP game. I have seen countless times Magnum campers just siting at his own spawn shooting across the map. It might not be an issue in modes like TDM or DM since everyone is scattered. Yet, in modes like CTF and Siege, which certainly most people will clustered in one spot, those campers are super annoying.

And remember, there is no way you can counter this at all. You can try raid the opponent spawn, but you will mostly die before even have a chance to actually see those damn campers. The maps are designed that spawns are hard to get overrun. This is to prevent spawn killing, which is a good thing IF MAGNUM DOESN'T EXIST.

I mostly see horizontal magnums in battle, and I don't find them or vertical magnums annoying. I find gauss and any turret with status effect augments much more annoying to deal with as well as augments like scout for rail gun, rapid fire for shaft, auto cannon for smoky, plasma torch for Rico. For me, magnum is much more bearable to deal with compared to those evils.

Gauss can literally spawn kill as well. I've killed so many that have just respawned using gauss. That's because gauss's lock on time is literally the same amount of time as the spawn protections duration.

Are you doing that with this account? i.e. @PirateSpider? Or is it some higher rank accounts? Because in low level matches, it is very easy to do what you said. I can literally play without dying even once in low ranks.

If you are lucky to get 10 kills each battle... And if battle lasts for 7 minutes... You might join a battle with 3-4 minutes left to finish... But, I'm interested to finish Challenge, not this special mission. 1546 / 3000 Stars. 10 days left, 1500 from daily missions. Is enough.

Not going to bother for 500 kills in DM; the game mode I hate the most (because of kill steal). And 7 Ultras, full of druggs ? No !

Confirming my theory, i opened the second half of 300 old ultra containers=150UC from crusader XT bundle (didnt open it because i didnt want Tesla few days before its release) and got 0 exotics again, they just buff 7 free uc ods, and got 3 legendaries: healing emmiter shaft, AP railgun, AP hammer. Never got any exotics from UC i have bought so i will never buy them again.

Agreed but for the players who didn't own these hulls/turrets upgraded, so I believe it's hard for them.

3 Legendaries - and awesome ones at that - from 7 free Ultras? Wow those are insane drops I have to say, 3 of the very best Legendaries you can get ?.

So you might be on to something - however you didn't get any Exotics from the free Ultras either. You mentioned the Legendaries from the free Ultras (truly amazing drops yes - never had 7 Ultras that good) - but how many Legendaries did you get from the 150 bought Ultras? I think that would be necessary to know, for a fair comparison.

I got only 2 legendaries from 150 UC bought which were jammer immunity and a paint :/ i was aiming at vampire isida
