Your idea is pretty much logical. I've faced this myself and it can be pretty annoying when the enemy kills you using your own electric ball.

Cool, I thought I saw too many electro balls in the area, but it was the enemies shots as well.

It would be better to only allow the balls from our separate teams, to be able to attack.

That, and if the opponents can shoot you, it means if you shoot the balls yourself you'll be able to hit that opponent. Tesla in my opinion is by far the most strategic turret yet.

Well, tesla is using electricity, so ehy couldn't i use any electric ball? On the other hand, tesla needs a quite huge nerf.

Yeah this is like ' I can only use my teammates to have chain lightning. Enemies are for the other team.' Dumb if you think about it.
