Changing the color of Tesla's balls to reflect the team it was shot by

It's impossible currently to tell whether a Tesla ball is shot by an opponent or by an ally team mate, so I propose that a solution be made to fix that: coloring the ball a specific color (red or blue) depending on the team it was shot by.

Balls shot by a team mate would be blue (similar to the laser of a Shaft on your same team), and this would allow for you to understand that it will pass right through you instead of exploding and dealing damage to your tank, and balls shot by an opposing Tesla user would be red (similar to the laser of a Shaft on the opposing team), allowing you to steer clear of the ball so that you don't receive damage upon it exploding.

I think this is a much needed quality of life change with the sheer number of Tesla balls flying around the map at any given time, and the confusion that comes with not knowing whether it will damage your tank or not.

This would cause 2 problems which make me guess of why the developers didn't already did it, it is obvious. Firstly, electricity can't be red, electricity is blue so it would make the weapon unrealistic. Secondly, if they are planning to make shot effect for this turret, this would give them less valuability. A better solution would be to put a red line all around the ennemy ball just like in htlm5 when you are aiming at an ennemy. Also, we could do something like this to ares'ball which encounter the same problem.

Ever heard of "Red Sprites"?

It's electrical discharges of some sort that happens high up in thunderstorms. Basically a form of lightning.

Actually they could just make the shot effects affect the bolt of electricity of Tesla's normal firing mode, but not affect the ball lightning projectile color.

so it would make the weapon unrealistic

But floating hulls that can jump up into the air or shoot icicles are realistic?

Tanki isn't meant to be a realistic tank game, that's what World of Tanks is for.

Yes, but hovering hulls were meant to make to game more friendly to mobile players so it can serve as a futuristic them purpose. Also, it is not because the game is not realistic that we can it evn more unrealistic.

This is a weapon that electrocute ennemies, not a thunderstorm maker, its electricity must remain blue, still it would make it unrealistic if it was red, why not make a red line just like when you aim at ennemies or a very dark blue for the ennemy ball?

Green plasma for twins? Even if twins' balls look like electricity, they never said that it shot electricity. Tesla is the weapon that shot electricity. In the past, isida shot looked like it also shot electricity but for some reason in 2014, they change the way it shoot. Let's not make tanki online more unrealistic further that it already is. I propose either make a red line or light blue allies/ dark blue ennemies.

If the colour of Tesla's ball is to be changed, then for consistency the colours of other projectiles - Ares's ball, the projectiles of Twins and Ricochet, etc - should also  be changed.
