Hunters OD should deal damage to nearby enemies.

I think its electrical bolts should deal damage to nearby enemies.

1000 points of damage at MK1 and 2000 points of damage at MK8. Just make it an upgradeable parameter.

 

This would bring purpose back into hunter.

I find Hunter's OD to be strong enough as is. It applies 2 strong status effects (EMP & Stun) and killing nearby enemies who have those status effects applied on is easy.

Only if wasp and hopper gets their stun and emp abilities removed.

While wasp, mammoth, and titan gets their OD deactivation abilities removed.

And all EMP and stun turret augments and immunities gets removed.

If those things are done, then I would gladly accept that hunter is "good" or "fine" or "balanced".

Its actually 1000 for light hulls, 1500 for medium hulls, and 2000 for heavy hulls.

That's way too much it should only take them the half of the lowest HP, in this case 500 hp for mk1

Well, they would be able to lower the damage by activating armor boost. Brutus helps too.

you know hunters OD deactivates suplies.

Also damage for hunter OD doesn`t make any sense because: what is the function of the stun effect if you kill everything around you.

The stun and EMP for wasp makes even less sense if we are gonna apply that logic.

i agree stun doesn`t make a lot of sense but emp does, if you get hit but don`t die immediatly you can`t heal yourself directly and still will die because of the afterburn.

Why would the emp effect make more sense than the stun effect?

It's a bomb with a huge explosion.  Don't agree with adding any of the extra effects - bit IF one HAD to be added, stun would make the most sense.
