Give hunter the ability to disable enemy mines.

Hunter really needs something to make it different from other ODs. Why not let it disable enemy mines? First of all it makes sense because mine technically use electricity. And second its not so broken as to disrupt the balance.

Are you essentially suggesting a new status effect for hunter's overdrive?

I ask this because all the overdrives now kinda work on status effects.

Nevertheless, I like your idea. Many times you go to opponent's base and find yourself in a mine field. Giving such ability would definitely be a good boost. It is kinda unfair that there's no way to disable mines at the moment.

No. Its an ability that only hunter should get.

Yeah, and will give hunter a purpose again that only it can accomplish.

I don't get why every new feature added to the game has to be a "status effect" nowadays...

 

We might as well make the splash effects of Thunder, Magnum, Striker, and Gauss a new "status effect"

And make Railgun piercing and and Tesla's chain penetration abilities a new "status effect".

And Ricochet's bouncing ability a new "status effect".

Oh, and don't forget Isida, lets rework it so it no longer insta-heals allies, but instead it inflicts a healing status effect on them.

 

Just being sarcastic btw. I don't want any of this to happen.

Don't forget about paints. Paints that resembles love will inflict the " cupid " status effect. Which mean you shoot and kill your teammates.

Paints with flowers will inflict status effect thatll change your gender IRL.

 

Paints that revolve around space will inflict the "void" status effect that'll throw you into the void.

 

Paints that revolved around aliens will inflict the "abducted" status effect that'll abduct your tank into a UFO.

IMO, it should not destroy mines. it should just disable it for 3 sec then all the disabled mines will get back to work again.

Mammoth OD can walk over to clean all mines now,

titan dome has been used for clear enemy mines for quite some time, because 90% protection.

while mammoth OD make saboteur drone user suffer a lot since that OD update, dont make another mine killer.

you know how hard those saboteur drone user wait 40s each time to lay mines, and always careful not been snipped or magnumed or gaussed while still contribute in risky fights

?

I already stop use that drone, and no way i can use out my growing 30K mine supply

Very good idea! But mammoth has basically the same function, it detonates mines and taking 0 damage from them when it has its OD on, but this one could desactivates all mines nearby its OD radius, i hope this get implemented.

Saboteur with its 9 mines maxed is very popular in ctf modes, also miner is gonna get a huge buff soon so mines will become more important

Too bad they didn't nerf Hunters Kaos damage range, it is kind of long range and ruins the game in some ways.

I find it so annoying when I drive away from a hunter with OD charged and it still kills me with that annoying OD.

I guess it is a good idea to kill mines since miner/saboteur was a bit too powerful, especially in ctf.
