I'll keep this topic updated and adding the rest of the tools, as well as adding newer ones

Here is an index of all programs from the Developers and ordinary players which can help a user with his/her creativity or other needs.

These programs can be used in photo editing, video editing software or simply be used to preview the games props, items, and equipment.

Here is a list of 'viewers' you can find on the download page and what they can do. Click the 'Download' text below.

TankiViewer; current viewer where you can find all kinds of paints (including special, holiday & fan paints), turrets and hulls. Don't forget to check out custom textures folder. It gives you 10 slots for your own paints.

BoxViewer; current viewer where you can find all drops (boxes) from the game which includes all textures that were introduced to the game after each graphic update.

OldTankiViewer; old viewer where you can find all kinds of paints, turrets, and hulls which existed under the old graphics.

OldBoxViewer; old viewer where you can find all drops (boxes) from the game which includes all textures that ever existed in the game under the old graphics.

TankiViewer 2.0; viewer where you can find paints, turrets, and hulls used for open testing of Tanki Online 2.0.

BoxViewer 2.0; viewer where you can find drops (boxes) used for open testing of Tanki Online 2.0.

Instructions

To open TankiViewer you can drag and drop the .swf into your browser or Standalone Flash Player.

To change your turret, press A or S

To change hull, press Z or X

To change paint, press C or V

To hide/show turret/hull press T or H

To rotate turret, use Arrow keys

To move the whole tank simply use your mouse

 

TanksTestingTool

 Download TanksTestingTool (3rdlibrary) (by developers, it only includes the 3rdlibrary propyl used in maps such as Future, Factory, Skyscrappers, etc).

 Download TLVK (translated to English by mostgar) (Guide on how to use TLVK)

 Download Tanki MapDevKit (MDK) 3.5

Map editor

 Download AlternativaEditor (extracted by SamGamgee55)

 Download AlternativaEditor from the russian wiki (you'll need to execute it through cmd.exe, instructions will be posted later)

 You must have Adobe Air installed to install and use the editor. Click here to download it.

Map viewer

 Download MapViewer

AlternativaEditor(AE); a program to make maps for the game using props from TTT.

TanksTestingTool (TTT); a program used to view created maps and it stores all props & textures for making maps.

MapViewer; a program developed by @ThirdOnion that allows you to view Tanki maps with a focus on graphics quality and streamlined use. You can say it's similar to spectator mode, but you're able to view all kinds of maps, including custom ones.

In addition to the given tools I made a little program to view the newer models: https://github.com/TankiSandbox/Tools. This also removes the Adobe Flash player dependency, which should not be used anymore. This might be useful for artists or video creators

That is really cool, it's been ages since anyone decided to remake the tank viewer programs, once upon a time even i tried doing it. Great work on the project, hopefully I'll get some free time to make a new piece use the program.

Looking forward for your artwork! I have a couple of ideas to improve this viewer. The updated models consist of separate parts, so this would allow for rotation of individual parts. Take scorpion for example it can switch to those rockets which are hidden by default. It will probably take a while before I work on such feature though.
