invalid New Chat Categories

It was suggested by a mod (Nectar) to post here requesting consideration for new chat categories, which could alleviate hurt feelings, tyrannical moderators and other disagreements on topics discussed between sensitive, uptight and generally mean players, with others who are friends and the context of their discussion is not recognized or appreciated. When players are banned in General, it is usually because topics discussed are either not relevant to game play, or violate some obscure, ambiguous and poorly-lined-out "rules" that are widely interpreted based on mood and experience of the moderator each time. Many players have left Tanki in frustration because of constant, unwarranted banning of their accounts.

I am suggesting a separation of chat categories, such as replacing "General" with "Game Chat", and adding an "Off Topic" area that is either unmoderated or loosely moderated, with an age disclaimer to accept before using. Of course, warnings should still be given to inappropriate topics of conversation in Game Chat as needed, but players wouldn't feel so restricted and abused by the moderator's whims and lack of intelligent discretion at times. We believe this would alleviate many of the issues players have with the game community, notwithstanding other areas of contention, such as updates and overall playability.

There could also be a category for Feedback or Suggestions in the Chat, not only here on the Forum, and not in Q & A, for more real-time  interaction with a developer or admin. Yesses, Nos or Why Nots would be appreciated and help players understand why or why not their feedback will be taken under advisement.

So I will begin and say that if you or anyone else believe they were banned unfairly, they should reach out to one of our Chat Administrators (@DarkOperative or @rommeltanki) via Forum PM. As for your suggestion, you should understand that this is a game and all of the chats in the game should be related to the game in a way. We cannot allow conversation about sensitive topics such as "adults stuff", religion, drugs and so on. Many players in the game are still underage and having an age disclaimer will not stop them from being exposed to this content. What can you do? There are many forums/discord servers around the internet that were created solely for the topics you want to discuss about, feel free to use them.

Last but not least, the chat is not the place to post your feedback and suggestions as it creates several problems. First, it would be way too hard to keep track of all the messages players post and many of the suggestions will remain unnoticed. (whereas in the forum, we have a proper protocol for dealing with ideas). Developers cannot watch the chat 24/7 and collect ideas from players. The developers already receive a list of valid ideas posted in this forum on a weekly basis.
